the property was very unique and interesting in style. it was in an excellent location within the city centre and just minutes walk to the sights and areas of lots of restaurants and bars. our room was very comfortable and clean, and we liked the individual style - nice to stay somewhere different from typical brand hotels. Yuka was a lovely host, being extremely welcoming and taking care to make sure we had all the information about the room and area we needed. lots of thoughtful details, like information and map in the room, plus fridge, kettle, tea, coffee etc, soap, shampoo etc.

Location: Right in the center of the town! Could not be any more central! Room: Large with an excellent bed and large bathroom. There was a kitchenette and the the unit was well stocked with all supplies. We had a table for 2 and enough space to hang clothes and store luggage. Breakfast: Excellent varied breakfast was served in the room each day. Hostess: Yuka is an amazing, professional, exact, punctual, well-prepared host. Overall: We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place.

Yuka, our hostess, was very charming and welcoming. The room, which was looking onto the internal courtyard of an old house, was spacious and the four-poster bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom had everything we needed. A nice touch was the use of an old chamber pot as a loo roll holder. The location was superb, very close the historic centre of Dijon. Breakfast was brought to our room and included delicious home-made jam.

Loved the location and the old historical feel of the rooms and building. The owners were very responsive and thoughtful. Ms. Mischler prepared and delivered breakfast to our rooms every morning. She offered something different every day and each was delicious and filling. It was a real treat to stay there. Bear in mind it is a very old building that has been updated to more modern standards but if you are expecting a sleek, totally modern American style hotel, this isn't for you. If you are wanting a beautiful European experience in a clean and unique property, this is it!

There is nothing that we (3 couples traveling together) disliked. We were unanimous in our enjoyment of the property and it's owner's service.

This property was in the center of Dijon with everything within a reasonable walking distance. We were there in mid October and the owner advised that we use street parking rather than the very expensive underground garages. At least at this time of year, there was never a problem in the three days and on the second day we were able to move our car within literally 10 feet of the front door. The cost is 1 euro an hour for 2 hours maximum renewable at the meter from 9AM to 7 PM, nights and Sundays free. We needed to get additional information on a vintner in Savigny-Les-Beaune and the owner both telephoned them for us and sent a follow-up email. I have no doubt the staff would have renewed the parking metering as needed if we had asked. The included breakfasts were very impressive: coffee, bread, croissants, buns, butter, crème fraiche, yogurt, sausage or salami, two cheeses, and these were served in the room! This property offers more than a room and bath. There was a private equipped kitchen, a cooking surface, a refrigerator, and a microwave - all immaculately clean. There are many personal items of decoration to the owners taste (our room has 30 volumes of Astérix le Gaulois!, old framed engravings, and cabinets full of antique pottery, as well as a large table in the window for the breakfast) And the bath included a fully enclosable modern shower, in contrast to the typical French arrangement with keeping water off the floor a difficult if not impossible learning experience. In conclusion, if you plan a few days in Dijon and like to stay in reasonable local accommodations, you will find this a very satisfactory place to stay.

Nothing to not like!

The Host was very welcoming and answered our questions before we checked in very promptly. The room was spacious and well laid out and very welcoming to tired travelers! :)) Easy to get to old town and plenty of places to eat all within 5 min of walking and very quiet at night for sleeping! The breakfasts were plentiful and wonderfully prepared and delivered to our room. We were lucky to get parking street parking out front after 4pm and didn't have to go to a public parking area. We would have loved to stayed longer ! :))

From our view, nothing not to like. Attentive hosts and wonderful surroundings!

We've stayed in over 80 B&B's in France, so for a "10" we always look for: comfortable bed, great shower, heated towel rack, nice French breakfast and friendly host. Le Petit Tertre checked all those boxes, but the reason it is a 10+++ is the surprise "little touches" offered by Yuka. We stayed multiple nights and those thoughtful touches made a difference. The breakfast was awesome too. We were in the Renaissance room and also had a refrigerator and table to eat meals; this was handy for our multiple night stay. We hope to return!

The location is awesome and the host was really nice. Breakfast served in the room was a nice touch and it was very tasty. Facilities were as described and I really loved having all the Astérix books in the bathroom

Our specific room was on the ground floor with one window into a small courtyard so a little bit closed off, but I think other rooms don't have that problem.

Exactly as adorable and glamorous as it looks in the pictures! So comfortable, cozy, and well-appointed. Super nice, roomy, HOT shower, excellent linens and pillows, and more chandeliers than I ever thought a studio could hold. Wifi reliable and strong. Quiet, clean, and absolutely perfect. Well located near grocery and restaurants.

I had a really wonderful stay the Chambre d'hôtes Le Petit Tertre. The room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and generous in accommodating any requests I had, the breakfast was great and it is in a really excellent location. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone I know traveling to Dijon.
