Room and pool area exactly as pictured and very nice. Property is beautifully decorated and in a great location just below the citadel walls and within easy walking distance of everything in the city.

Property is unmanned except breakfast time so there isn't anyone to ask for advice about your stay /the city. Access to property is by two codes which are not sent to you until you request check-in via message in whatever app you booked through. We struggled to get in when we arrived as did at least two other sets of travellers staying at the same time. Breakfast is somewhat limited and only between the hours of 9 and 10am. The walls are very thin and if you are staying in the rooms next to the breakfast area you can hear everything - even the coffee machine - in the mornings.

This property was excellent! Conveniently situated and great links to Carcassonne, only 20 minutes walk to the train station and 15 minutes into the town centre over Pont Vieux with lovely restaurants nearby. A stones throw from la cité and a nice walk to get there. Exceptionally clean, comfortable rooms with good air con and Netflix and WiFi. This hotel is a big city style in a town and I would strongly recommend. Lovely breakfast every morning with fresh pastries and coffees. Hosts are so friendly and I would come back in a heart beat.

We thought it was beautifully presented and had a welcoming modern deisgn. The room and bathroom were spacious and airy. We loved dipping in the pool after a hot day. The welcome drink was a lovely touch.

We found the instructions to access the property by car quite confusing. We also found it difficult not having any staff on site to help with this when we arrived. Parking outside was the best option. Breakfast although nice was lacking, as just sweets and bread available and no hot food. A bin in the room would have been good to have.

The accomodation is absolutelly amazing. Luxury feeling for great price. The room looks exactly like on the pictures. View on the Carcassone castle was stunning

Arrival by car was a bit tricky (small roads which looks like just for people on foot and navigations are basically lost) so it could be nice to have more detailed descripcion for cars. Only sweet breakfast with undercooked pastry was a bit dissapointbent as well with missing bin in the room.

It was in a fantastic, peaceful, location just below the old city walls. The building was beautifully decorated throughout and had a plungepool in the garden. It was in walking distance from the old city and nearby Rue Trevalle with bars and restaurants.

It was not the easiest of location to find even with a GPS. For ongoing travellers the 9am breakfast start was rather late.

Gorgeous little boutique hotel. Really lovely. Would like to also say how lovely Hugo was, absolute gent! Would return. Positioned right outside the castle walls too! Fab.

There was a bit of panic on arrival as the code was not sent to get into the premises & it was after 2pm. Need to send codes a bit earlier. Other than that everything was perfect.

We had a lovely stay at La Maison de Jean while we were in Carcassone. The view from the outdoor area up towards the castle is spectacular! Our room was lovely and clean and any issues were quickly resolved by the host. Breakfast was also delightful in the morning!

If you are travelling by car make sure you look into your parking options!

It was chic, stylish and clean and was exactly as described.

Check in could have been clearer, we arrived without receiving the door code instructions and no one was there to greet us or show us to our rooms which we did not expect. Had this been better communicated beforehand it would have been less confusing.

Beautiful hidden gem in the heart of the town just outside the old city walls. Super clean, well appointed and relaxing with the added bonus of a plunge pool - it was 30c so we enjoyed using it! Parking nearby in a free public car park was relatively easy - although you can pay for private parking too I believe. Highly recommended!

Very nice rooms, nice design, the location amazing close to the Cite. The room was clean and comfortable. Little noise from the breakfast area early in the morning because is just outside of the rooms door but it was not something to worry. We liked it there and the breakfast also was nice with croissants,jams etc
