Cheap but clean and functional - recommended Secure parking was nice (we were on holiday and had bikes on the car so the secure parking was a plus.) Bloke on reception was very charming and helpful - probably should have mentioned the pillow to him (see below). Breakfast was good - I mean not worthy of being posted on instagram but we weren't hungry until lunch so... The kids were happy that there was a McDonalds next door - made up for the fact that I stole one of their pillows later. Really easy to get to and from for a ferry the following morning.

The biggest problem was the pillow - only 1 each and collapsed to nothing when you put your head on it. Worst pillow ever, didn't sleep well. No aircon in the room was only a problem because it was freakishly hot when we were there. I did briefly consider deploying the unused duvet as a pillow but it proved impractical. You want 3 sentences huh? Did I mention the sorry excuse for a pillow.

Room was excellent value for money great night sleep, easy access for all routes to ferry, city, etc The sister Hotel amenities were used at nigh time for Alcoholic drinks in the reception area and staff were also great in that Hotel. It was also good for McDonalds which is right next door if you want a simple meal. We walked into the City Center which wasn't as far as some of the locals had made out. We loved our stay and the City is a very Beautiful place to stay and enjoy. Car Parking was also first class

possibly a license to sell Alcohol as there is very little around in the way of options to have a drink.

Parking available on site. The location is quite some distance from the town centre but Uber taxis are available. Not much around the hotel, MacDonalds, petrol station and a supermarket. You'll need to travel to the town centre to get something decent to eat. You must visit "Moon and Sons" if going into the town centre.

Rooms a little on the small side and no kettle.

This is a no frills hotel that we have now stayed in 3 times before driving to the Dordogne. It’s basic, very clean, quiet and with a very comfortable big bed. Breakfast was lovely, croissants, pain au chocolate, bread, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham, egg etc. lovely juices and teas and coffees. It’s a bargain. Man on reception was very pleasant.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was not too far from the ferry port, although a little hard to find in the dark. Breakfast was also available at a reasonable cost, if you required it.

The parking was difficult, as we had a small size motor home, and the car park was quite full.

Cleanliness and comfort of room. Excellent buffet breakfast.

A female member of staff on reception/breakfast duty. Very unprofessional, unfriendly and unhelpful. Not sure why she was there, other than to pay more attention to her mobile phone. However, the young man the previous evening was the total opposite. A shame she let the side down.

Ibis is always travel friendly, never disappoints. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room (specious enough for us), Safe and spacious parking place (fenced).

Everything was fine. Noting to dislike.

Breakfast was great! Very good value for money! The receptionists were also polite.

A bit too cramped for space. I guess this is where the cost compromise takes place. If you are alone or two guests you'll be OK. But we had two triple rooms, ie two children in each room plus one adult snd there is basically hardly enough space to place and unpack your suitcases.

Location is perfect to access Carrefour, McDonalds and so on. Easy to check in and out. The staff is very helpful.

You never walk alone...even in your room :) I felt that someone knocked my door several times when someone is knocking my neighbors' (upstairs - downstairs, left or right or opposite room). I cannot say that it was silent. We were a little bit tired and slept but it is hard to imagine if we weren't.
