Residhome Bordeaux

I stayed only 1 night with my wife and my son and we had a great time at this place. The location is great because you have "Monoprix" (to buy food or beverages for the room), restaurants, tramway very close to this place. It takes like 20 minutes to go to the center of the city. We booked the studio room and it was very clean and spacious. It was cool to have a kitchen to prepare the meals. The staff was friendly to guide us to the parking and replace the faulty TV in our room.

It wasn't a very big deal but the TV is not a smart TV, So, no Netflix on the TV

The room was clean and spacious. It had a great set of amenities across the kitchenette area and a good amount of storage to stay for a few days. Staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful and the general areas seemed to be cleaned often by staff.

The water pressure was quite low in the bathroom which meant that showers were not brilliant. It was a shame to have to pay for parking although convenient that this was under the hotel. The security was good but a little inconvenient that you had to insert a key card to change between floors in the lift.

Very well located apartments/hotel on the quays with an excellent tram service across the road to reach anywhere in the city.We had hired bikes and could keep them safe in the basement at night .The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable.

Unfortunately there was no air conditioning available when we stayed as it was switched off in the entire building and so it was hot at night even in October. We asked for a fan to plug in and the receptionist kindly had one put in our room. Also just to be aware, as it is located on the banks of the river there can be an issue with mosquitoes in the warmer weather.

Very clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom,, comfortable bed and great little kitchenette..Had room to the rear so very quiet. Supermarket just around the corner so no need to spend €24 every morning on breakfast when all we needed was a coffee and croissant. Close to tram, cafes and 20 min walk to town along the river. Requested the higher floors on booking in order to avoid potential problems with mosquitos. Was given 2nd floor apartment which did have them in the room, possibly from previous guests opening windows and got badly bitten. Also, room was not cleaned, towels or sheets changed during our 5 night stay.

Can be noisy if your room is in the corner at the junction next to the traffic lights and bridge (ask to be located elsewhere in advance, if you are a light sleeper) Continental breakfast is expensive at EUR 15

Good location - 5 minute walk to the Wine Museum and 2 minute walk from the tram which goes straight to the city. Very welcoming and helpful staff throughout our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Self catering available if needed with dishwasher, microwave, crockery. Breakfast was fairly good. Private parking good although we had to visit the reception to find out how to access the parking garage.

Cleanliness was superb. The room was a good size for two people and very comfortable. The breakfast, although not extensive, was lovely with healthy products throughout. The location is just 6 stops from the city centre and the tram is across the street from the aparthotel. Staff are very friendly, speak English and helpful. A very good choice.

These are just little things which do not impact my rating. Pressure in the shower could have been better and a mat by the shower would be a good thing. We had a room overlooking the back which was quiet. The ones with the view on the front would be rather noisy as the property is on the main road.

We were really happy with our accomodation. I booked a studio, but longed for something bigger because so with had place enough for our little daughter. It was no problem to switch to an appartement. Everything was beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff was helpful, the breakfast great and we also did our laundry here. We repeated everyday how happy we were with this hotel. We can also recommand the tapas restaurant across the street and les halles. The rooftop bar on the roof was also great. We had everything we needed!

there was an issue in the assignment of the correct apartment ( I was given a studio for a negligence of the structure)! when I was showing my correct reservation ( 4 beds apartment) the receptionist looked annoyed by the fact it was not my mistake but theirs ..unprofessional and unpleasant behavior in contrast with the beauty of the residence and the sold quality , furthermore I kept on being calm while the receptionist looked more and more nervous

We drove and it was easy to find our way to the underground car park of the property - which is very good and from what I gather unusual for Bordeaux! It was great having our own little kitchenette for those times when you're tired and can't be bothered to go out for food again! There is a Monoprix supermarket about 50 meters from the front entrance. The tram stop was about 100 meters away to whisk you towards the old city centre. The Cite de Vin museum was about 250 meters down the road. We loved walking all along the quay into the city centre but this is definitely for the fit and active! Breakfast was excellent and matched buffet breakfasts in many more expensive hotels.

The Garonne doesn't always smell so good. You're right on the main route into the city along the river so it is busy with cars and trams and buses; not to mention joggers, bicyclists, scooters etc. We loved this buzz but its not for everyone.
