The location is excellent; close to tram stops, restaurants, bars and the tourist office. I is an ideal location for exploring and enjoying bordeaux. The cafe part of the hotel had good food at a reasonable price especially at lunchtime. The happy hour drinks were relatively good value and so convenient.

The breakfast arrangements were a little chaotic; one day when several people wanted breakfast at the same time. Coffee was made to order; it was good that it was fresh but in busy periods the service was slower. The breakfast was adequate but I didn't like then notices saying only take one pastry.

Fabulous location next to Opera house, tourist office, l'entrecote restaurant and short walk to leafy park and great modern tram system. Also walkable to the river. Friendly staff even let us store our food from the market in their frig. Good restaurant inc. many patio seats and a wonderful affordable fish dish.

Maid service was sporatic. Did next to nothing one day, a good job the next after we mentioned it to reception, then about half tasks done the day after that.

Hotel location was excellent. We had a room overlooking a square where the Christmas Market is so lots to see! The room was very large with two windows, two double beds and was a lovely temperature.

Unfortunately, where the shower was fitted rendered it almost unusable; there wasn't a shower screen or curtain so the water bounced all over the floor and neighbouring sink. Neither the plug in the bath or sink fitted properly so as quick as the run in it ran out! This all meant that we could neither shower or bath comfortably. There was a wall between the bathroom and toilet which made the bathroom a strange shape; if the wall wasn't there the bathroom would have been bigger enabling the bath to be full sized and the shower head could have been relocated making it easier to use

Beautiful small hotel centrally located in Bordeaux. Phenomenal view from balcony of the square. Centrally located to restaurants, wine bars, events, and cafes, excellent location. Balcony was "Juliet balcony" which only allowed me to stand on it to take pics and drink a glass of wine, but loved to see the views and people watch while enjoying the sunset. Staff was incredible...very helpful and always at the desk. Breakfast and dinner were included in my rate and the hotel is connected to a cafe next door (QuatrèS Café Bordeaux) that provided both meals. The staff in the cafe were amazing! I stayed for 4 nights and they remembered me every morning and evening, anticipating that I wanted 2 cappuccinos in the morning and a glass of red wine at night. Noemie was the waitress who took care of me every evening...phenomenal asset to them!! She had a great personality, spoke excellent English and went out of her way every night to ensure I had the food I wanted, the wine I wanted, and even helped me hand carry a meal up to my room!! They ALL went the extra mile. Always with a smile on their faces and "avec plaisir" (with pleasure) was always their response. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel, location alone was worth the price, but the people REALLY made it an awesome stay.

We have stayed in many more 'posh' hotels, but this modest hotel beats many of them on many levels. This hotel is right in the middle of the town, close to a tram station. From here you can reach everywhere. The hotel is perfectly clean and the food is excellent quality and value. The beds are comfy and the air con is wonderful.

Almost perfect but I have to say the carpets are a bit shabby, but we can forgive that because everything else was so good.

The property was in an excellent location in the centre of Bordeaux, also next to the famous L’entrecote . There is a lovely terrace directly outside the hotel that serves drinks and food. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, the young man on reception spoke very good English and gave us a map of the city and answered all of our questions! The shower was very powerful. There is also a huge underground car park opposite the hotel which is brilliant €49 for two days.

If you want luxury this is not the hotel for you! Our room was on the first floor overlooking the smoking area, where all the bikes are stored. It made the room dark and we had the curtains pulled as if you had the light on people could see in. But you don’t go to Bordeaux to sit in your hotel room! All the other hotels I looked at were at least €100 more expensive so I feel it was very good value for money. It wasn’t the best room in the world but you get what you pay for and I would stay there again.

The hotel was very central, perfect for walking everywhere and getting the trams. The city tour bus leaves from the door of the hotel. Room was small but bed was very comfortable and staff were very helpful.

The rooms needed a bit more focus on hovering, lots of dust gathered around the edges on walls on the carpet. The shower was just a handheld one connected to the taps, so not a power shower but was grand to use.

My room was quite big for the value I paid. The bathroom is quite big also. My room also overlooked the main street which was a huge plus! The breakfast buffet was also rich and amazing too which a wide choice of French breakfast choices.

The room needs a bit of a renovation. it's a bit out dated and you feel you're stuck in a certain age or era from the late 80s and early 90s, but all in all it was a very good stay.

We've stayed in a family room just for one night but it was fantastic experience. Room is very spacious, with cosy and smart separate WC/bathroom. There is a balcony full of flowers overlooking the central square, the view is the best you can get in the city centre. There're a lot of period features: tall ceilings with a beautiful plasters, marble fireplace with the huge old mirror - place full of character and history. However it's not the place for those, looking for a modern and sleek style.

There is a certain level of dust around the room perimeter, where the floor connects to the wall, wet cleaning from time to time is needed. Apart from this, room and bathroom were clean. Also breakfast is very basic, without any hot food.

The hotel is in the best part of the city. Incredibly beautiful part. The tourist office where all tours start is next door on one side and the famous entrecot restaraunt on the other. 5 minutes walk to the river promenade. Inside we chose room 52 as that and 51 face the square. We got two double beds in a big room for 113 a night. Incredible value. Continental breakfast was thrown in.
