Maison Cabotte

A difficult review to write. The hotel was faultlessly clean and tidy, well decorated but somehow it lacked that certain something. The space within the building has been maximised to accommodate as many people as possible with the net result that the rooms were fairly small. Our bathroom had a shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin and enough room for one person. Breakfast was in a purposely provided room. The food was croissant, a piece of bread with ham, cheese, jams and yoghurts also available. The owner was very nice and when we opted to have a takeaway pizza on Monday evening because most of the town was closed, she provided cutlery and glasses for the wine we bought from her.

Didn’t seem to have an atmosphere. Bathroom very cramped.

We liked the location as it was a straight walk into Beaune, about 15 minutes, and right on the road to Dijon. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was good, and we enjoyed our stay at Maison Cabotte.

Breakfast was good quality, but choice was limited given the price. We would have bought wine in the evening, but QR code provided in the room didn't work, and it was unclear how the self-service worked. There was a problem with the door lock, and we couldn't get in. This took a while to be fixed. For our second night, we were then offered a better room, which was more spacious (the bathroom of the first room was very small).

Walking distance to the old center, the air con room was appreciated. Breakfast offers good nutrition for the morning meal. Check in between 4pm and 6pm can be a nuisance while travelling. Amazing wine area to visit!

Parking on the hotel groung should be complimenrary and not extra cost! Check in before 4pm or after 6pm ( same for check out 7.30 to 11am) should NOT be 20% extra cost!! In all my travels i have never seen this anywhere else. 😏

Good location near to the town centre and local restaurants. Bedroom and bathroom were in very good condition. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The room was air conditioned which was very welcome. Breakfast was varied and good quality. Secure parking.

Breakfast was a little expensive.

very good hotel if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg in Beaune ( which is best spent anyhow in wine and dining !) clean rooms ( a bit small but ok )

just a suggestion , there is a Huge parking in front of the facility and they charge you 5\6 euros for the parking itself... it's not a big deal but you don't need it . Beaune it's a very safe city

Lovely decor. Room was nice and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking was very easy and location was an easy walk to city centre. Having aircon was also great!

Had to carry suitcases up some stairs but not a huge issue.

This is very much a stopover location about 20 minute walk from the old city, which is lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room small but well equipped and clean. Breakfast is simple but fresh and as there are no alternatives nearby, welcome.

Not so attractive a building from the outside but easy to find.

Simple, compact, clean, and modern room with fun carpeting. Fantastic shower, comfortable beds, enclosed parking , and very kind staff. Very simple continental breakfast (with local jams). No noise complaints from our side. Great distance from either the highway or the town center - we would definitely look to coming back for a future stopover.

The breakfast was less than simple. I would have went to the fastfood restaurant down the street, but my husband was there for work
