L'Hôtel

Very friendly and welcoming staff, particularly Alexi, in a great location with an easy walk to the square and restaurants. We reserved parking in the undercover facility which was very easy and the reception were more than happy to park the vehicle and retrieve it but it’s not really necessary. The room and bathroom were very generous and very comfortable.

Nothing really, we dined in the restaurant one evening, the wine list is enormous with easily hundreds of wines to choose was a bit overwhelming (and heavy).

This was our third time staying at this beautiful boutique property. It is our favorite small hotel in France. A gateway to the beautiful vineyards of the spectacular Cote de Beaune. Once again, our room was perfect - with luxury bedding and a wonderful bathroom with a soaking tub and the best shower ever. The staff is so helpful - and, no visit here is complete without a dinner at the hotel’s Bistro. We enjoyed another meal if a lifetime. We booked our 3 day stay as soon as France reopened on 9 June, and we are so Jose we did. Everyone has been so welcoming - and it has been a privilege to enjoy France with the French people themselves and few tourists. Thanks again to the team at L’HOTEL.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the center of town. The size of our room was exceptional. The staff was nothing short of fabulous. The restaurant was superb. Marie made us feel welcome from the moment we got there. This was some of the finest service I have had anywhere I the world. I would highly recommend this property.

The internet could have been better.

Breakfast limited but OK.

The Brasserie restaurant was hugely overpriced, particularly the wine. The champagne (coup) was returned as undrinkable - sour/bitter and much too cold. Deleted from our bill. Service, particularly from the wine waiter was gratuitous and basically rather unpleasant. The food service was marginally better, but we did not feel welcome. We were told that the restaurant will soon be separated from the Hotel and perhaps it will improve thereafter. We would stay at the very expensive Hotel again, but eat outside somewhere more convivial and reasonably priced,

Location!

I had originally booked two rooms and ended up only needing one 5 days prior to stay. their policy was 7 days prior for cancellation and they absolutely would not budge on that. We ended up spending over $1000 more than necessary for the two nights. We felt they could have at least tried to open the room to see if it reserved or only charged us for one night. also the family room is not in the main building.

Breakfast was very nice, the staff was very nice, though not very professional for a 5-star hotel. In fact, the hotel is not like a 5-star hotel. We stayed on 2nd floor, and there was no stair lift, so lucky for us, we are still fairly young. The dinner was fine, though the female waiter had never heard of "medium" or "medium rare" for a steak, meaning that I got one well done. She explained that in French it was "saignan plus", and so I got one medium to well done. The restaurant is an ordinary bistro, but nice to be on the terrace.

claiming to have 5 stars, it should have been much more luxurious, but the location in the centre of Beaune is perfect, and the staff helpul in finding a wine dealer.

Stunning hotel in a fantastic location in the centre of Beaune. The staff couldn't be more helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing but we didn't have breakfast as we were too full from the night before!

We should have booked for a longer stay!

The two double bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms were very nicely fitted out. Nice all round decorations in the rooms.

At check out I was asked to pay for the one night family stay. I had to show the lady that I had already prepaid by accessing my credit card account to show the transaction as well as the confirmation from Booking.com showing full payment had already been taken care of.... Miraculously she then confirmed she's could also see the payment. A bit annoying.

Absolutely fabulous. 1. The location is beyond excellent. 2. The staff was super hospitable, always went way beyond what was necessary. 3. The room and bathroom were huge by French standards. 4. The food at their restaurant was top class.

The fact that we had to leave. One cannot find a single fault with this hotel.

Beautiful room and great staff. We had dinner at the restaurant which was outstanding! They also helped us with E-bike riding through the vineyards! Wonderful experience

Breakfast was not as good as most hotels we stayed at….Very expensive….. they could offer more fruit for the cost
