Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor - Convention Center

Room (superior room with balcony & Nile view): Perfectly spacious with seating area and desk. Appreciated having a small corridor leading into the room. Beautiful view directly facing the Nile to view sunset - also overlooking the restaurants and pool, but no noise heard from 4th floor. Breakfast was a large selection of continental foods (obvs not pork!) and Egyptian dishes, as well as lots of cakes and breads Hotel is still working on foyer, so main entrance inaccessible, but all areas were accessible otherwise. All areas were clean and staff professional in their duties. The hotel is ideally situated to walk into Luxor town/markets Luxor temple/Luxor museum (20-30 minutes)

This is one of the best stays in Egypt (Luxor). The property is at the Nile coast at a good location. We were able to visit the Medinat Habu temple, Valley of the kings, Queen Hatshepsut temple, Artist village, Luxor temple and the Karnak temple all in one day. The property prices are reasonable and the rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is the best! Highly professional, welcoming and helpful. We checked into the hotel late in the night because of the flight delay and still were able to order a good dinner in the room. One can just go ahead and book the hotel without any second thoughts.

Whats not to like! the view of the Nile was breathtaking, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. This hotel takes special care in observing the needs of the guest at the time of arrival so that your stay is care free and blissful. We were so happy - even the pick up service was delightful and the hotel can make arrangements for all tours (for less money than online). By far our best stay in Egypt, we will be back.

The breakfast box was subpar compared to the rest of the experience but definitely doable. I dont have anything else to say on this note.

Nile view; the animal folding of our towels in our room made by Mahmoud were very beautiful and he put a lot of effort and thoughts into it to make us feel like we were at home. Furthermore the travel agent Marina did an excellent job with booking and informing us about tours and made it possible for us to do a hot airballoon trip.

There could be a bit more variety at breakfast.

It was not convenient to take a shower. shower fixed only. but the manager said they are in the process of changing showers. some of the rooms are already equipped with modern showers

We had a delicious dinner in the hotel’s Thai restaurant. Unfortunately, four of us became horribly ill with gastrointestinal issues that lasted 24-48 hours.

Extremely clean, well kept in all areas. Excellent facilities, multiple restaurants and terraces. Location was perfect for all tourist purposes. Was kindly upgraded to Executive Suite and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view of the Nile.

This property is amazing, and in a great location to see the East and West Bank. They are currently completing renovations but have made an exceptional effort to ensure customers are not affected by this. The food was delicious and so was the coffee. All staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from reception, the travel office to the laundry team you was all so caring and considerate. Thank you! The room was fantastic. Waking up to the view of the Nile was something I won’t forget. I was really sad to leave this hotel as I felt I had both explored Luxor and had time to relax. A special mention to the wellness spa team - you made our time even more relaxing. We were a little confused after the massage if the sauna was actually private or if other people could come in as we were shown a different sauna the day before and it wasn’t communicated properly post massage. But very nice touch to have an area for a couple after a massage.

The taxi from the airport to the hotel cost was a little expensive given it is only 20 minutes away. I used a different company to return to the airport.

We had a Nile facing room that provided a stunning view of the hotel, grounds, and the Nile. The rooms themselves were well decorated with a large bathroom and deck. The hotel iwas clean, the breakfast delicious and a great selection of restaurants to chose from onsite. Our friends were staying at another 5 star hotel up the road, but spent their time with us as they prefered our hotel!

PERFECT!!! There’s no other way to describe our stay at the Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor. From the moment we walked into the lobby we were made to feel welcome. Check in was seamless and fast, we were taken up to our room less than 10mins after we arrived at the hotel to a surprise. And what a surprise it was. The wonderful front desk staff (manager, receptionist & a trainee ) had upgraded our suite from a “side Nile view” to a “full Nile view” and because we arrived the hotel in the evening (we actually arrived Luxor at 1pm but we went straight on a tour to Karnak temple ) we got the most scenic sunset view of the Nile & the swimming pool when the manager pulled back the curtains. I think we spent the next 2 hours just soaking in the view and the feeling of serenity. We eventually got hungry and had to leave the balcony and went downstairs where there are 4 on site restaurants (Thai, Lebanese, Ethiopian and Italian ) We decided on Thai cause you can sit on the terrace & again enjoy the view of the Nile & Hatshepsut temple lite up in the distance. Tte food and the service was really amazing and even thou we were tired we went to the cafe in the of courtyard of the hotel, which looks like a street cafe in Italy. The Breakfast Buffett has all you need from from Continental to Egyptian dishes. On our second night We decided on the Lebanese restaurant for our dinner and it did not disappoint either. You can feel the warmth from Everyone single one of the staff at this amazing hotel. Even the “locals” on the boats we took for our sunset cruise from the hotels dock ( yes they’ve got that too ) were extremely friendly. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. 3days at this hotel leaves you contemplating calling the airline and paying to change your date of departure.
