Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa

Everything was more than great. Starting from the reception and the team of Karim Mohamed who is more than keen to satisfy the guests wishes and is really doing the utmost possible to make the stay an unforgettable one. We changed the room and it was simple and perfectly managed. Thank you Karim for this great and unique nile view i had every morning with the ballons. The food is delicious and breakfast and dinner is having a variety of different selection so that everyone will find something he likes. The housekeeping is fast and the rooms itself are having a good space and are cleaned in a proper way. In Luxor the sun is shining every day and so are the hotel and the team. I will definitely come back to enjoy it once again.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for a total of 12 days, all i can say is we were treated like royalty! Because we stayed for so long we got the chance to get to know some of the exceptional workers such as Mariana, Islam, Enjy, Mohammed & Ahmed. We had an amazing time at the hotel, the location, the views, everything was perfect. We felt a sense of security as entering the hotel, they do search vehicles and you will periodically see security guards walking around each day. Olives was our go-to restaurant, the food was incredible (Mediterranean shrimp pasta was a favourite). The staff at the Olives restaurant were incredibly funny and friendly. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, easy-going and good natured, the staff honestly made us feel so welcome. We loved the main pool as sometimes they played music of different genres. The shisha area was really nice and relaxing, the shops were a little over priced. The spa area definitely had to be my favourite area, the spa staff were incredible! They were so thoughtful and even prepped the sun lounges for myself and my partner after they realised our routine (mornings in the spa area). They would bring us fresh cold towels and would be checking on us to see if we needed anything. By the end of our stay we felt like family and were really sad to say goodbye to all the staff. Overall it was our first time visiting Egypt, we absolutely loved it and are definitely coming back in the future! The hotel is definitely one, we trust and when we do visit Egypt in the future we hope to see the amazing staff we met.

Around the middle of our stay we did feel as if the hotel staff were prioritising a large group of Brazilians who stayed for a couple of days, they were very loud, they were also drinking alcohol non-stop and making scenes (shouting at staff to change the music). They pretty much took over the pool/music during their stay, a lot of people around the pool were irritated and complaining as well and a few even left the area. I feel as if the staff took verbal abuse from those people staying and didnt do much to 'control' them, I think the staff should of stopped serving them alcoholic beverages and should of made it clear that verbal abuse would not be tolerated.

Staff where amazing BUT I had a problem - my bank in Australia was closed for maintenance for 24 hours and I happy to be right at the time of checkout- my card would not be accepted as the whole system was off- down. The staff at check in did not help didn’t even try to find a solution for me - I was very upset as you can imagine and there was nothing I could do- staff answer to the problem is you will have to stay another night - that was impossible as I had 3 connecting flights to Australia - after an hour or so I managed to get a friend to bring cash to pay, I was very disappointed with the reception staff

The Hilton Luxor stands out as the nicest hotel in all of Luxor, offering top-notch amenities, particularly in the spa. The pool area is nothing short of epic, boasting stunning views of the Nile River. The staff are genuinely invested in guest satisfaction, even going so far as to offer us a room upgrade after a pleasant conversation during check-in.

While this is not the hotel's fault, the surrounding area offers limited activities unless you're willing to venture out by taxi, which involves some tedious haggling over fares. While the hotel's buffet was enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the top of our list compared to other dining experiences on our trip.

We travelled in many cities in our Egyptian trip and the Hilton has been by far the best experience. -the staff was very friendly and professional -the room was nice, good size, nice interior and I had the most luxurious sleep of my life. The quality of the bedding and their mattress was very high and the bed huge. I have read comments on how outdated the interior was, not at all. I found it sturdy, of good quality and a modern “vintage”. Exactly how I would love the interior of my house - the swimming pool(s) -main and spa - were the highlights of the hotel. Made the place look so luxurious and with a breathtaking view on the Nile. So many nice pictures

wow, what a place! We had a great time there. The swimming pool was my favourite place, we stayed there for hours enjoying our drinks, great food, and the amazing view. Breakfast was great, with lots of options including traditional local food but also bacon & eggs and pastries. The room was big and had everything we needed, very comfortable bed with an amazing view of the Nile River - and we could see the balloons in the morning, beautiful. We stayed in the deluxe room, and it was very quiet. Want to say a special thanks to the pool waiter Mohamood - what a great and funny guy! And the guy that helped us with our sunshades (sorry, forgot his name). And also, Rawda for helping us with our late check out, she was super helpful and sweet. Amazing staff Hilton, congrats!

Had the feeling that the hotel was understaffed sometimes, especially during breakfast. Near the pool the food took a bit longer to be ready. But overall, this was not a big issue for us.

Excellent quiet location. Room was excellent. bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety of fresh products. The whole pool/outside area is breath taking and premium with the view over nile. Staff was very helpful and professional. Wi-Fi was very good.

The balconies are very small, I would assume to preserve privacy. Some of the furniture needs renovation. Overall nothing significant to complain.

Good bathroom, and electric points in the deluxe bedroom with view across to the valley of the kings. Nice spa pool. Engy at breakfast and spa pool guy very attentive. 15 mins walk to Karnak. Easy to get taxi into Luxor. Oasis of calm.

Hotel getting ready for a refurbishment which you can see in the carpets and wall textiles in the main restaurant. Waiter used customers used napkins to clean down tables in Pan Asian restaurant! Half-board only gave you access to the buffet restaurant. Food was bland throughout the hotel’s restaurants.

The hotel has an excellent location right on the banks of the Nile. The rooms are great and the food is very good. You get all types of cuisine in the restaurants. If you like an quite evening stroll along the Nile, though only a short distance within the property, this is the place.

The view from the rooms is very restricted with the windows at an angle, giving very little view of the Nile. So if view from the room is a criterion, this is not the hotel for you. We were in the Nile view room. Also, the hotel is far from the main city, so if you like an evening stroll in the market or to see the nightlife, a hotel closer to the city centre would be better suited.

The rooms are comfortable, water in the shower is hot and pressure is good, the ac is good too - these are important for a good nights sleep! The pool and outdoors area is really lovely, we enjoyed the boat rides also. The wifi was also good.

The facilities, the room, all very good. The staff at the restaurant (Olives) is very inattentive though. I had to get up 3 times to go ask them to take our order and even then no one came. They just stand there with their back to you. It's the same for when you need the check. We had asked for 2 rooms, would have been nice if they had taken the time to reserve adjoining rooms for us.
