Days Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Downtown

The location location was excellent and right in the middle of the downtown/business district. It was a very close walk to GasTown as well as the harbor area. The hotel team was excellent and made the check-in and luggage storage process super easy.

When checking in I wasn't made aware of the continental breakfast offered by the hotel. I learned of the option when visiting the lobby later when I was retrieving my stored luggage. This feedback would not prevent me from staying at this lovely property again in the future, just offering some communication feedback.

The location was perfect for our need. The room was sparse, but acceptable. The hotel is old and hasn't been remodeled in quite a while. This hotel is about two 1/2 blocks from Canada Place (cruise port)...it was pricey for the quality, but considerably less than most of the surrounding hotels. Included breakfast was adequate.

The location was perfect, as I had personal & business meetings in the vicinity. The staff were very cordial & obliging -- and on the day of checkout, the desk clerk offered to store my bags, which greatly enhanced my day! The breakfast was basic but good (the lineup for the waffle machine gets a bit long at peak time, but it's a small area, so.that's to expected). It's convenient to have access to the adjacent pub (which could lower the volume of its music a bit, to allow conversation...). The hotel has a quaint "vibe"; the room is a bit small by modern standards, but certainly adequate for a comfortable stay. An unexpected bonus is that with the big new buildings surrounding it, my room in the hotel was largely insulated from much of the usual city hotel street noise.👍 I'll be back! B- Fort Nelson, BC

Excellent location

Breakfast was basic - limited in range but it was included in the price The key card didn't work for the first two days I was there. I had to get reception to let me into my room . The card worked on the last day. The hotel refused to accept my travel card which was loaded with plenty of Canadian currency. They had hoverer used to to make a pre-authorisation payment which was later refunded. The transaction was quite expensive.

It is second time to stay here after a few days. I requested to left my luggages at the hotel before leaving a few days out side Vancouver, and the front staff helped us to keep them at the hotel until I back. This time I stay in another room that has bigger washroom than previous stay. Everything is good as same as I reviewed before such as best location, close to public transport, free breakfast (do not expect much because of no meat, only boiled eggs).

I think the refund deposit process is too long for waiting but the hotel said it depends on the credit card timing.

Could easily walk to harbour & surrounding area.

Room was quite small which was fine since I was on my own but the shower was really, really small (elbow bruiser if you’re not careful).

The location is prime, really close to the train and bus stop stations, and walkable to Canada Place. The building looks old because of renovation from other hotels but if you don't mind staying in a beautiful room. I think all of the facilities in the room are completely for travelers' needs: refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, coffee maker, towels, heater, etc. The front desk is really helpful. I call her twice the time and she keeps calm and replied step by step. Appreciated! For breakfast, the hotel provides it as complimentary, so do not expect much. It has cereal, yogurt, many types of bread and muffins, boiled eggs, and juice/coffee/water. Beware to bring the slipper if you want to stay in this place in the winter season because its floor is so cold.

The first floor was easily flooded by rain and snow. It makes the lobby seems like a pond and expands to the breakfast room which is located underground.

Great location. For the rate we got, compared to other hotels nearby, I think it was a very good value. We loved the location and that made a difference for us.

The continental breakfast was not appealing to me. I would have prefer some hot food to make toast or the ability to warm up food. The hotel building itself was very dated, although they did some upgrades to the furniture. The rooms were very small. We had no views because the air conditioning unit covered over half the window. Our original room had a small ant problem in the bathroom. The staff responded immediately and changed our room.

The cleanliness and size of room were very good. I asked for a room away from the elevators and the attendant did her best to accommodate my request. The breakfast was good (coffee, milk/cream, juice, toasts, muffins, croissants, yogurt/cereal) and the lady there was also very friendly. Location was great for me, just a few minutes walk to the conference venue.

I was surprised by the deposit and payment in the check-in, but it may have been my fault for not reading the terms properly. Otherwise, I have no complaints at all.

A great spot with friendly staff. Complementary breakfast was plentiful. The rooms need an upgrade and are getting tired looking but that is not a complaint. just an observation. After all the price was impossible to better, so you can't expect Pan Pacific standards. We would definitely stay there again.

The place needs an upgrade but that is not a complaint given the price. You shouldn't expect a Michelin 5 star hotel for this price. It met our expectations and we would definitely stay there again.
