Grand Park Hotel Vancouver Airport

The Grand Park Hotel exceeded all expectations! It is located only a five-minute walk to Skytrain station for easy access anywhere in Vancouver and across the street behind the hotel is a big shopping mall with all the shops you could want and a food court. The area is predominantly Asian so there was a large selection of choices for Asian restaurants, but the hotel restaurant served Italian cuisine and was very good as well. The king room was very large and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful from the minute we walked in, storing our luggage before and after check-in, providing directions to key locations, and suggesting places to visit. The housekeeping staff were quick to respond when we asked for additional coffee supplies. The hotel shuttle to and from the airport was convenient and accommodated our schedule. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Vancouver.

Everything exceeded our expectations and we were never disappointed.

I had a really great stay at Grand Park Hotel Vancouver Airport. Even though I read several reviews that made me worry about the conditions of the hotel, I am able to say that it exceeded all my expectations and I had a good overall experience. The staff was very helpful, the wifi connection worked perfectly, it was all very clean and comfy, and the shuttle service was on time and very convenient.

I did not have any problems during my stay, so I cannot mention anything I did not like.

I liked that the hotel offered a free shuttle to and from the airport and that the shuttle ran on the hour. I also liked that the hotel was close to restaurants.

I didn't like the long wait to reach a staff member when I called to enquire about the wait time for the airport shuttle. I also didn't like that our key card to our room did not work after we came back to the hotel after supper. We went down three times to the front desk to re-activate our key card, after the third try a staff finally escorted us up to our room with his special activation key to fix the problem and to let us into our room.

We only stayed one night and based on our experience, the rooms were nicely laid out, the beds were fairly comfortable and provided a few pillows which was helpful. The internet was quite good and my partner and I both liked the shower head, which was a nice bonus at the end of a long travel day.

Overall it was pretty standard and positive. I didn't love the price but I guess that's the reality of something close to the Vancouver airport.

This hotel and staff are amazing. We had booked them desperately without prior research because we were stranded at the airport for fourteen hours and knew we would not get a new flight for several more hours. And this place made things so much better. We arrived around 9:30 am, knowing it was too early to check in. The manager greeted a group of us with warmth and empathy. He said he would work as hard as possible to get rooms ready so we check in early (they had had a full house the night before and had to wait for people to leave and then clean). In the meantime, he took our luggage, our names and cells, gave us directions to local amenities or invited us to rest in the lobby or restaurant. After less than an hour, I started feeling ill (had been up for 24+ hours by then) and asked him if there was anywhere I could lie down. He told me to give him ten minutes and got me into a room. The room was clean, lovely, had an extremely comfortable bed, nice toiletries, tea, coffee, water, and creamer, a safe, fridge, microwave and even soaker tub. The lobby had a pantry with snacks for purchase. They also offer an airport shuttle. I am blown away at the manager's kindness and would go out of my way to stay here again.

Tough to get through on the phone

Beds were very comfortable. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Large lobby. Bottles of water and soda complimentary. All made our stay very comfortable. AND the locationis convenient to lots of ethnic restaurants and a shopping mall 2-3 blocks away. Nextdoor to McDonalds. Had a delicious breakfast in hotel. Not included.

Some dingy aged items in the room.

Excellent location in the heart of Richmond's famous "food street". There are many good Asian restaurants within just a few minutes walk from the hotel. There is a microwave in the room which allows me to reheat food for the next meal which not many hotels provide. Beds are comfortable, Internet is strong and steady and plenty of free parking. The free airport transfers are convenient.

Nothing much. It would have been great if there is an on-site pool and hot tub which I always look for in other hotels, but I still picked this for the price and convenience.

Complimentary airport transfer was great after a long flight. Location was perfect. Within walking distance of skytrain station and shopping malls nearby. Plenty of parking also available just behind hotel.

No breakfast was offered and the attached cafeteria as too expensive. However we found better options around the hotel.

Clean room, friendly staff, close to skytrain, malls, and other restaurants. Easy to get to downtown vancouver. Microwave and fridge available too.

The exhaust in the washroom was not working for us. Possible upgrade to a smart TV or adding chromcast would enhance the quality of the room more.

The location is close to the airport. A free shuttle service was provided The restaurant breakfast was delicious. I can’t remember the really nice woman’s name that runs the restaurant, but she was such a delight, so friendly & fast efficient service. We were allowed late check out to 3pm with no additional charge

I am a smoker & there was a smoking area, but no ashtray! Just a garbage can, so lots of cigarette butts on the ground as no one wants to put cigarette butts in the garbage in case of a fire. So an ashtray should be provided.
