Fairmont Vancouver Airport In-Terminal Hotel

You can’t beat the location, super convenient and you can see the planes taking off. In room service was timely and I had very good pancakes for breakfast.

it’s a little pricier than other hotels around the airport, but since it is inside the terminal, that is expected. Not a problem itself but be aware it is at the opposite side from domestic departures.

Fantastic to be right in the airport with an early flight out. We put most of our bags on an airport trolley and just took an overnight bag up to the room. Easy to collect the trolley and check in next day Room was very nice indeed, large bathroom, the longest bath I've ever been in and I'm 74 and like a bath! Room service was great

It was a little busy and the restaurant was already fully booked when we arrived at 5.30pm. We had expected a nice restaurant meal in the evening. In fact we were entirely happy with the room service meal which was of a high standard, fairly quick to arrive

very convenient being located in the airport. we checked in late and only had 10 minutes left to order room service (no meals had been provided on our flight so we were hungry) - the front desk staff we’re great and offered to place our order. the room was comfortable and the bed felt like a cloud.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We were dropped off at the airport at the end of an excursion from our cruise ship, Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas. It was very easy to get to the hotel, and then the next day to get to our flight.

The restaurant was very crowded, and a table was unavailable for approximately an hour at around 6:00 p.m. There also were no seats available in the lounge or at the bar at that time. We also felt that the prices were a bit high. At lunchtime, we ate in the lounge, and I paid $29 for a bowl of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. I could get the same meal with the same quality for less than $15 here at home in the State of Delaware.

Excellent location for flight next day. Very accommodating, think outside the box plus above and beyond customer service. Booking as per-paid. They oversold on the room category. So we ended up with a runway view semi accessible room. Due to the inconvenience, they could not offer us a discount, however, they offered a $50 dinning credit for breakfast which worked out beautifully since that allowed us to enjoy a brunch for 2 people for the price of one.

Only complaint is due to the lower bath tub, shower curtain is a bit too short so the water over flood to the floor during shower, so we had to clean a bit. Other than that everything was excellent

Loved the Nesspresso coffee! I also liked that the room was quiet, very clean, had a very comfortable bed and had lots of towels.

The lighting in the room was far too sparse; I had to use a flashlight to find the coffee cups, capsules, creamers, etc. The black console containing these items was in an area of the room with no lighting except a small desklamp that couldn't be moved. I was also dismayed at the lack of available plugs (electrical sockets) as all the sockets that I could find were behind the furniture or were fully occupied by other plugs. I, like most travellers these days, travel with multiple electronic devices and the one plug that I could find was in the hallway near the floor (probably designed for the vacuum cleaner) so I had to recharge my devices there thus leaving them sitting on the floor. A high-end hotel room without several available plugs is unacceptable these days.

Arrived late and staff were helpful and understanding. Room and bathroom were very spacious and - bonus - there was a big bath as well as shower. Despite being next to runway there was no airport noise, it was a haven of tranquility after a long day. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent, and staff were attentive.

Access to hotel is tortuous (elevators are hidden from main concourse), walkway to reception is uphill and on thick carpet making pushing a baggage trolley difficult and signage from arrivals simply says 'hotel' so you have to hope it is this one as it is a long walk.

As usual, the Fairmont YVR was excellent in some categories such as amenities, food, service, cleanliness, decor and is in an excellent location when you are flying in or out late. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the service good. The room decor was lovely.

We were upgraded to Fairmont Gold, at a price, however we could hear the lift consistently which was quite noisy so the room must have been located under or beside the lift shaft, although the room was not the first room on the corridor. Considering the cost of the room, this was very disappointing and would discourage us from accepting an upgrade in the future.

We had adjoining rooms for a family of 7 after a 10 hour flight from Japan. The rooms were clean, quiet, beds were comfortable, huge soaking tubs and views of the airplanes in/out coming. We got to spend time in the salt water pool with jet stream, the shallow pool and the hot tub which felt amazing after a long flight! The change rooms had showers, sauna, bathing suit “wring out the water” machine, lotions, deodorants, fresh towels and hair dryers! So welcoming and appreciated after a lengthy vacation and flight! Thank you Fairmont!☺️

This is an amazing hotel! We needed a place to stay overnight in Vancouver CA prior to catching a flight home to Australia. This hotel was actually IN the International Terminal, meaning there was no need to exit the terminal, baggage storage is available, and a sky train service into the CBD (and other places) is just a short walk away. the hotel rooms are very comfortable, the bathroom is spectacular, and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

There was nothing we disliked ….. it was all great …. especially after a longish tiring holiday trip.
