Sunshine Lodge Inn

It's an older building for sure, but immaculately kept up. I had a room on the inside courtyard. It was perfect for me as I travel on a bicycle so I had a very secure place, right outside my door, to store it. The room was large. The patio door allowed me to let in lots of fresh air. I sleep lightly yet heard nothing at all from other guests the entire time I was there. Nor did I hear any street noise. I very much appreciated the lack of carpet, and what looked like newer vinyl plank floors (or similar product). Check in was simple. The room was spotless. Wifi was great. Great value, I will be back.

Honestly, there was nothing I did not like.

I appreciated the clean and spacious room, with quick easy access to the pool. The bed was very comfortable. The room was also well stocked with dishes and pans for cooking if needed. The desk attendant was friendly and accommodating.

Some people might require air conditioning. However, the pool and a fan in the room proved very sufficient on the hot days.

The place was nice, all the staff members we interacted with were very friendly. The pool area was nice and open and even though it was in the middle of all the rooms we didn't hear it much during our stay.

Everything was good they just seemed a little limited on supplies, we asked for extra pillows to help elevate my dads legs but never heard anything back.

Great family hotel, with very clean rooms, well-maintained pool, and social areas. Erika and the rest of the staff were amazing and worked as much as they could to enjoy our family holidays. Thank you, Erika! my kids loved it too! Will go back for sure!

The beds are a bit too soft for what we are used to, but I understand most customers like soft beds.

The location was perfect for the ferry terminal. The hosts were amazing - so friendly and welcoming. The room exceeded expectations! It was large and well kept. The decor was modern and open so the room felt nice and spacious. The swimming pool was cold but great for a morning dip!

A microwave would have been a great addition to the kitchenette

There were welcoming staff. Good beds. Price was good.

It was very disappointing for my kids and me when we came. The pool was closed. The reception said it can be open next day afternoon. We stayed there 2 nights and pool was closed all the time. To be honest, when I was looking hotel for our travel, my preference was a pool...

From the moment we got to the Inn, we were treated as family. Everybody in their team is super nice, because of Covid they didnt have in house cleaning but it only took a quick call to reception and within a minute every request was fullfilled. My 12yrs old daughter loved the pool and had the chance to play with other kids. The room, although nothing fancy is clean and the beds are comfy. Next time we visit the Sunshine Coast will definitely stay there again. Thank you for an amazing week!

Nothing except that it was bit dark, not their fault as it is surronded by huge trees which is part of the charm.

The location was great - close to downtown. The desk staff were great - very friendly and helpful with ideas for sightseeing and directions on how to find places. Very quiet with a nice view overlooking the courtyard and the pool. Great value for the money!! Janet & Per Drewes

The staff..they were so welcoming and hospitality was superb. We made some great friends and it was so lovely.. I really hurt myself(fractured my ankle) the pain was awful and Erika drove us back to the inn We love the coast and would stay again..thank you Erika, mike and rest of staff

Weather better and pool open bit was so biggie!

Peace and quiet. Comfortable bed. Close to town and highway.

Wake-up call did not materialize. Only two pillows - had to ask for a third one.
