Grand Hotel Neum

we loved the fact that everything is close by, the room was super clean the cleaning ladies come by each day the entire restaurant staff is very friendly there is a big variety of foods but I did expect more seafood overall we got to know our way around and we did enjoy our stay

the check in is rushed you get a fast brief down of things and then you get lost we read there is room service but the front desk didn’t tell us about it the room has a phone with no ext directions we would have loved room service the pools were colder then expected you only get 1 key to your room,it operates the power in your room in order to charge your phone you can’t leave your room as it requires the card to charge. it’s energy efficient but also inconvenient. The WIFI is poor on the first floor the mini fridge was empty I didn’t expect that we drove a few hrs to get there it would have been nice to find cold water at least while getting ready to go out. I do hope the hotel management considers adding refreshments for guests as people travel with kids.

Big hotel with several pools, and rooftop is the best one with beautiful view. Free lounge chairs at pools are great, and you can always find it... Parts of the hotel are renovated, and elevators are new and quick. Huge benefit are elevators to the beach connected with tunnel. Rooms clean, regularly maintened. Overall, it's a good hotel...

Bar staff!!! Hope that somebody will read this and do something about it! Bar near reception, not busy time, waiters sitting,, and they will not serve you for 15-20minutes (had this several times) until you got to them and ask, then you wait again, then they miss the order... Or evenings, live music on hotel terrace, you can sit for 20min nobody will come and serve you. For this kind of hotel and especially for the prices of drinks which are high for BiH (4.5 euros draft beer) it must be way better service. Beach overcrowded with hotel chairs (you need pay extra for them) but that seems as standard in Neum. Hotel parking- it can be found but usually really narrow and crazy, or to park on the road near hotel

Everything was just perfect! The food was delicious and there are so many variations every day. The personal was kind and helpful. The rooms with sea view just amazing and clean. The location was pretty central. Also the Spa and the massages were wonderful.

The only sad point was that the area where the infinity pool is close’s at 20 o’clock. We wanted to take a picture of the beautiful view with the sunset and the personal was really pissed although it was 5 minutes before closing.

large apartment, comfortable bad, nice balcony with sea view. infinity pool on the roof and the other half-closed pool are very popular. food was good. staff pleasant and supportive.

slippery floor in the shower cabin in combination with overall weak lighting in the bathroom makes bathroom a dangerous spot for elderly in particular. beach chairs have covered every inch of the rather small beach in front of the hotel which is always very crowded.

This is exceptional hotel and true value for money. When visiting Neum it is kind of tradition for my family to stay in this hotel. We have stayed there for numerous times (since 2006) and all I can say is that we are still not planning to explore further. What you see on the pictures is what you get. Excellent hotel architecture, room size, the great service, delicious food (every dinner included fish and seafood on buffet offer), welcoming staff, animator for children, swimming pools,a bit of natural shade on the beach, true family hotel. It is always pleasure to return and catch up with familiar faces at the front desk :)

I miss a beach space near the water without deckchairs

Location, friendly staff, resort facilities and restaurant choices for breakfast and dinner exceeded all of our expectations. The amount of food choices is out is this world. It reminds me of American resorts. We reserved spa appointment and massage therapist were excellent. This resort offers everything for families and it is perfect for kids as well. Location is five min walk to the beach, although resort has pools filled with salt Water. They even offered aqua classes twice per day. Our rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean well stocked with towels shampoos conditioners etc. we will definitely be back! Well done Grand Neum Hotel!

The hotel is massive; probably one of the biggest i've stayed in. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful (i regret not remembering the name of this girl at reception who helped us out several times, including with booking a van for us to take us to Dubrovnik the next day). Our room and balcony were amazing. Great views, spacious and clean room. The dinner and breakfast were ok - nothing amazing, but definitely above average, with plenty of choices.

The only slight downside were the pools. The Infinity one was stunning, but very cold. That's fair enough as it's not advertised as having hot water. We were there in September. It was about 27 degrees outside. I assume the pool would be more pleasant in June/July. However, the other "thermal" pool, located inside the building was also quite cold...the water was tepid at best. It wasn't the end of the world, but a couple of extra degrees would've made a massive difference

things to improve - the restaurant commodore at the Beach serves terrible food - the worst pizzas and pastas you would imagine (poor bread, cheap cheese replacement, bad filling) - the Music outside at the hotel bar is really bad - small things such as no coffee/tea in the room - remember to do maintenance on the mini golf court (really needed)

Wow, what a place! The views are absolutely spectacular, the staff were lovely and very accommodating, and the food was alright! I could have spent much more time sitting on the balcony or bar, looking out at the stunning views.

The infinity pool requires payment to use, which I didn't think was worth it as it isn't very big, but the other indoor/outdoor pool was amazing, and highly recommended! The hotel's a bit big for my liking, but that's a personal preference, not a criticism.

it’s nice that it’s right on the beach, you only have to take an elevator down and then walk through a nice and cool tunnel to the beach. very convenient. I also liked that the sauna was right next to the pool so you can rinse off and jump in the pool to cool down.

The pool on the top terrace is essentially only for those who pay. You couldn’t get a glass of water with dinner unless you bought a bottle of it.
