The location of the hotel is great. My room had a balcony which opened onto a view of the whole bay in front of the hotel. From day 1 at Check-in I was very impressed with the staff, particularly Anita from Reception who greeted me at my check-in and seemed to be there without going home throughout the duration of my 5 day stay. Staff were very helpful. I was particularly impressed and surprised to find the tv in my room was a smart tv. I was able to log into my Netflix account straight away and didn’t have to worry at all about using mobile data to watch Netflix whilst away. Having said that, the hotel wifi was available in all parts of the hotel, although at times the signal did drop a little.

It’s a shame that the hotel rooms don’t have fridge and kettle facilities. Knowing this beforehand I took a travel kettle and some powdered milk, but it would have been good to have a fridge to keep cold drinks cold and to have fresh milk. If these two facilities were provided in the guest rooms it would definitely be a 10/10 from me. Another minor niggle from me was the fact that the rooms don’t hace ‘Do Not Disturb’ signs that you can put on the outside of the room. So every morning was a repeat of the cleaners trying their keys in the rooms and then having to get up to answer the door and tell them I didn’t require housekeeping. This is something that can quite easily be solved.

Location is amazing, sits right on the beach front. Few steps and you are able to hop in for a swim. Pool is small but it is very quiet with no fight for sun beds. If you can stay in the annex as I think the rooms are newer

Breakfast was good and so was dinner, though a little more variety would Be great. Dinner buffet was 138 kuna per person, little expensive for the variety of food but we tried to make the most of it.

The staff are the real gem at hotel Komodor from the moment we arrived to our departure each staff member greeted us with smiles and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. The Komodor is a 3 Star hotel that is an older hotel but our room was comfortable with amazing views from our balcony and the pool area was lovely. Breakfast buffet was always well stocked and was never over crowded. Thank you again to the hard working amazing staff 👏 Location is excellent near beach and on bus route 4 to Old Town.

The only downside was the aircon in our room would sometimes drip but this was sorted when reported to reception.

Fantastic view from my room, which had a balcony from which you could watch the sunset. Room was comfortable. Breakfast is very good. Dinner also available for an extra charge and also a good buffet. You can eat inside or outside. Staff very nice and helpful. Quiet location but shops and restaurants nearby.

Although I knew this when booking, it is a little far from the old town but buses fairly frequent and cheap so not a problem. Some tours (I took one to Mostar) will pick you up from the hotel for no extra charge which also helps.

The location is great, nearby a beach and a lot of nice restaurants. It is also very easy to go to the Old City with a bus. The view for the room was super nice.

Our room was located in another buiding, so not in the main buiding. There is not lift there and no reception so for two times we found the main door closed and we didn't have the key. The parking costs 12 euro a day, which is a lot in my opinion. And the room is very humid and there's a lack of places to put your bath clothes.

Good international buffet breakfast. possibility of buffet dinner at a fixed price, drinks not included, but with a voucher for a glass of wine or champagne for the first dinner. Buffet with a wide choice and very good food. The location of the hotel is exceptional: on the sea and with the bus stop 100 meters away; you can reach the "old city" in 10 minutes without having to move the car which would still be impossible to park near the "old city". around the hotel many clubs and a beautiful promenade.

The only flaw is that the annex is not equipped with a lift, but the hotel staff took our luggage to our room.

Excellent location in Lapad very good value for money all staff were extremely helpful and friendly, very clean and comfortable little hotel, it is a little old fashioned that's not a negative just calling it as is, great choice on the buffet breakfast bus stop round corner for old town, highly recommend

The location near the beach and cafes/ restaurants is very good. Also, the bus to Dubrovnik stops just outside the door. The rooms are comfortable and I had a balcony facing the sea which was brilliant. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast and evening meals are fantastic. The choice of food is superb. Also, it is a nice, quiet hotel.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The food was good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean. Sure, there was no gym in the hotel, or indoor swimming pool, but at the given price this is perfectly acceptable. The outdoor swimming pool was too cold to be used (mid-April). Good for sun bathing, though.

There's hardly anything bad that can be said about the hotel itself. The stay in the hotel was pleasant. What we didn't like were the overall high prices in the area, but that's a topic for another review.

The location is really convenient and there are beaches very nearby. Apart from great facilities the hotel has good spa, and awesome lunch and dinner buffet to choose from. There are variety of food options too choose from and the quality and quantity both are great. It's indeed value for money. The cherry on the top is the swimming pool and the hospitality of the workers, they are very helpful and open 24*7. It's really a great hotel which is underrated and pocket friendly.

We wanted to upgrade the room 1 week before going there, neither the hotel nor booking.com could help us on that. They have attached annex komodor hotel which is the next building. That could have been inside the same hotel.
