The room was plush, ornate, huge - very impressive visually. It would have been a perfect room had it had a desk, a small refrigerator, and a coffee maker. Otherwise, it was more than I expected. The breakfast was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is close by, but expensive at 25 euros per night. The first floor room had no view to speak of, but that wasn't a concern. Very comfortable bed. Location is okay, but still a bit far from the center city - take the tram, or as in my case, drive closer.

The WiFi was unreliable, my phone never connected, and my laptop was unable to connect in the mornings or early evenings, when I needed it for work. The rooms were not as quiet as expected for such a plush hotel, and I could easily hear "activities" in the neighboring rooms.

- Reception was great ( when we checked in + when we arrived late from sight-seeing and on checkout). There was also a lady working there (in a green tshirt) at the hotel who was warm and friendly. - our room was beautiful. We stayed in a green room with a great street view. We took ‘Insta worthy’ pics from that window hahaha. - Walkable distance to Radetzkystraße (if coming from Wien Hauptbahnhof using Tram O you will get off here and walk abt 2-5mins to Hotel). There’s also a Spar there. If going back to Wien Hauptbahnhof use the Tram O stop next to Spar around the cafe. Not the same stop you used coming). - Excellent Wifi, comfortable bed, clean room and the water was always hot!! There is also a safe in the room. When going out you leave your room key at reception. We stayed for 1 night but if I come back, I can stay here again definitely.

- it looks like most European hotels have no kettle in rooms? - Ironing is at a cost ( but we ended wearing crinkled clothes😀 since its winter anyway). nothing else really.

Although we got the pink room which is not really our colour, it was actually very neat. When you get acustomed by all the pink and silver, the room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious, lots of options - more than you expect from continental breakfast.

The information about the parking could be more exposed, since the garage is quite pricy and the cheeper street parking provided by the hotel is only untill 9am (chekout is untill 10am).

The staff was kind and helpful. I got a big room for a single traveler initially, but it was in front of the main street where it was too noisy for me. I asked to switch a room and they helped right away. I got a cozy nice and quieter room instead. The hotel has an exciting way of decorating its rooms. Each room is a unique masterpiece with different themes and colors, each decorated with a different style of furniture and art pieces. It was cool to see that. The hotel is located 10 minutes’ walk from Landstrasse Wien Mitte which is the main station for the lines U3 and U4 as well as the City Airport Train. On the other side, it is very close as well to Praterstern so it’s really in the city center. For those who prefer the take the tram instead of walking, there are lines O and 1 which provide a great range of transportation options for many other directions and lines.

I found the environment around the hotel a little bit too noisy since I'm a person who needs as less noise as possible when I go to sleep and there are many young people living nearby who stroll the streets at night.

I loved the eclectic style of the hotel, a mix of everything without any apparent reason: fake-marble classical statues and African one-meter and a half warrior statues in the lobby, acid-pink and -green pillows on a traditional sofa, etc. The room was very nice with elegant wallpaper, the staff helpful in providing a hairdry that was lacking in the room. Early check-in and check-out at noon!

No problem for me, but consider that rooms could lack wardrobe and hairdryer. But this is really nothing compared to what I liked.

I stayed there only for I night, as I was looking for a room close to the central station to help me take the train to the airport in the morning. The room was small but perfect for a solo traveller. It us not the most modern you can see, but it is well equipped and most importantly, clean. The room was looking to the back, but it was quiet. Overall, the hotel is perfect for a solo traveller on a budget, it is not close to the historical centre but not far away and close to the main train station. The station has two metro lines stops hosted on a mall. Highly recommended if you are looking for a value for money accommodation.

As said it's a bit off the centre.

The staff was very friendly, they offered us cold water bottle as soon as we arrived on a very hot day. We arrived early with the intention of only dropping our bags. They were able to accomodate us and let us check-in early. It was much appreciated. The rooms very very clean, much cleaner than other hotels I have been. Overall, we had an excellent stay and are looking forward staying there again. The location is about 20 to 30 min walk from the center where main tourist attractions are. Fairly easy access. The train station is about 10 min walk.

No air conditioning. However, each room is equipped with a fan. It was very hot outside, but with the fan and windows open, we slept very well.

Hotel Urania is in a Great location, very close to the metro. It is a fabulous hotel, lovely architecture and aesthetic. The room we stayed in was beautiful, very spacious, clean and tidy. We loved the thematic approach to the rooms! We had the hot-tub in our room, which was a lovely touch. The staff were top notch in every way, from the check in, to the breakfasts, to organising a cab for us to the airport and a cup of tea before we left (at 3am!). All were very kind, and helpful. When we come back to Vienna we will without a doubt stay in this wonderful hotel again! Thank you so much!

Cheap, clean rooms. Location is very convenient, a short 15 minute walk to Wien Mitte, a large mall with access to red and green subway lines as well as a direct connection to the airport.

There is no work table in the room, which makes it very inconvenient if you want to sit down and work on a laptop. The breakfast is awful, especially when they charge 15 euros for it.
