Hotel Cavalier

Room are huge & clean . it is hard to find spaces room these days!

First time id stayed here in one of the spa rooms and was great...rooms were huge with all facilities including a lounge Bathroom was sensational as well with lots of room and had amazing water pressure in the shower over spa which was working brilliantly! Also close to many shops and food For anyone who likes a spa room you wont get one at better value than here and i can't recommend enough!

The reception staff were pleasant and helpful on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Bonus to have 10:30 checkout so no rush, and the Continental breakfast for $9 was good value. Pool was nice. Close to shops and multiple eating choices.

The room had all the amenities of a much more expensive motel. It was in a suitable location to my destination and there were plenty of food options nearby.

It was a push to get to reception before they closed. We travelled 4 hrs by car after work. Oh and the brand of coffee in the room.

The stay was made such a great one l even stayed there for a longer time .The staff were amazing especially a staff member named Cheri on reception , she bent over backwards to accomadate everything l needed with my stay and was so caring and friendly , l have never met such a helpful person while travelling , l will recommend this Hotel to others and will revisit .

This was during Grand Prix weekend, so there wasn’t much available in our price range. The corridor and communal areas were very tired. First room on ground floor had a broken window catch, so had to be given another room. Girl in reception was very apologetic. Bedroom door to corridor didn’t seem at all secure. loose lock. Room itself was a little tired, but serviceable. sorry to say I won’t be returning.

I like the look of the property and how close it was to the Knox Westfield and the pool area was great

I noticed some ants in the room crawling around but no a whole lot just like 2 or 3 but besides that nothing else was bad

the receptionist was lovely, the beds were very comfy, and everything that we needed was there (fridge, cups, kettle, towels, face washers, tv). It felt quite safe, and was walking distance from lots of shops. Also plenty of car parks.

The light switch slider in the room was a bit tricky, and the exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms seemed to be dragging in cigarette smoke from outdoors.

The rooms were very large and very comfortable. Had a problem with the shower head on the first night and it was fixed the very next day so it's great service and hugely great value for money.

Neighbours were very noisy in the room next door, but after speaking with staff, they addressed it immediately and all resolved. Great outcome.

We were a little concerned after booking the Cavalier upon reading some of the horrendous reviews posted by unhappy guests. However when arriving tired and road weary we were greeted by the nicest young fellow (Daniel) at reception, checked in very efficiently and given the keys to a beautifully refurbished room on the ground floor. Immediately across the road is the Wantirna Club which we were able to visit and have an excellent meal accompanied by a few welcome beverages, returning later to the Cavalier for a restful nights sleep. Would most definitely stay again!

No fault of the Cavalier, but crossing the busy road to the Wantirna club could be challenging or some.
