Sage Melbourne Ringwood

Had a wonderful stay here. Clean, comfortable room with good facilities and ample space. Parking available on site (in the Eastland parking). Beautiful set up for bar and reception area, liked the design and the shelves with the books. Convenient location within a short walk to Eastland and Ringwood station.

Wasn't clear where the parking for hotel guests was located. Found it by accident when we drove into the Eastland parking. Was a bit strange not having an open area to hang coats/jackets near the sink in the bathroom, instead of a closed closet. Not sufficient privacy in the bathroom considering that the door couldn't fully close (gap between the door and wall), and the holes in the doors to the toilet and shower meant that any sounds from the bathroom could be heard by anyone else in the room.

We chose to stay here at Sage for the convenience of a Cooking Class the following day being held in the Yarra Valley (which otherwise would have been at least a 2 hour drive). We are so glad we chose to stay here. The staff were kind and helpful. The parking was super convenient. The access to Eastland shopping centre through the lift system was just fun. Many dinner options available. The room was comfortable and clean and quite modern. The bed was just perfect. I would definitely return to stay at Sage and perhaps even make it an annual visit heading toward Christmas because it was just so enjoyable.

It didn't affect our stay, but we could only find free to air tv, which upon return to your room after dinner it would have been nice to sit back and perhaps watch a movie, but unfortunately the internet connection wasn't optimal.

Check in and out was quick and efficient. Really like the room, bed is comfortable and is spacious enough for 2 people. Room was furnished and presented well and though the bathroom was small, it was not an issue. Water pressure was good and shower was very clean. The lounge area next to the lobby is also very nicely set up and is a cosy and comfortable area to have a sit and a chat. Would definitely recommend Sage Hotel to family and friends. Car parking is $10 per day and you are permitted to come and go multiple times.

This hotel doesn't have a swimming pool and there is no direct linked walkway to the shopping centre - you have to exit the hotel and walk across the car park to enter the shopping centre.

The staff were really accommodating and let us check in a few hours early. The car parking area was undercover and safe. The room had a huge window - not a great view, but lots of light! The shower had a lot of pressure and was roomy. The best part is the location, with quick access to the shopping centre, restaurants and public transport.

The open bathroom sink/mirror area that you couldn't close off from the rest of the room (fine when travelling with a partner, not so great when travelling with a parent or friend!)

very new upmarket feel about the building the room decor was beautiful, quality fittings and fixtures, air conditioner excellent, good shower pressure fresh clean aroma throughout the hotel and spotlessly clean, compliments to the friendly staff.

no buffet breakfast so i ate out, no pen and paper in the room, the concrete floor in the main level did not look industrial just unfinished not the best location some train noise could be heard in the room.

The design, decor, aesthetic and modernity of facilities was superb. I especially loved the open-plan lounging areas, the bookshelves and the accessibility of all this on the one level. The actual location was ideal too, I love Eastland Shopping centre. And, most importantly, it was quiet and I didn’t hear any hint of noise when in my room from any other guests. Bliss.

On the street level entry it was ambiguous about where to check in; there needs to be clear signage informing guests to proceed to Level 5 Reception please.

Loved the bar and the books! there’s a cool vibe here. Comfortable and cosy shared spaces and I like that they have work spaces here. The room was clean & comfortable & the facilities were great. The dessert was delicious. This is probably my favourite hotel so far of the approx 30ish I’ve stayed at so far. Added bonus that they’re above Eastland shopping centre so I can shop close by.

The menu on the tv said it was a smart tv and that I could stream shows from my device but I couldn’t figure out how. I couldn’t find instructions anywhere.

Room was excellent. Service from Adrian and his management team was fantastic. We are staying in the hotel because our house suffered a sewer flood and we expect to stay for a total of 3 months. Adrian was excellent in organising our rooms around an already busy schedule.

Breakfast was disappointing in that it was a very limited menu an d in the four weeks we have stayed, it has not changed.

Room and bed very comfortable and functional. Access to good parking is a big plus. The Dinner menu was a bit restricted but what was served was enjoyable. Staff helpful and courteous. Easy access to shopping center a bonus

Disappointed in the Breakfast selection as on previous visits the hotel had the best buffet/continental breakfast in Melbourne. Also disappointed that when I tried to book direct with the hotel, I found the price significantly more expensive than using a booking site. When I contacted the hotel, I was curtly informed that if I did not like the direct price, go and book with the third party site.

Great Location. Very Clean, surprisingly quiet. Very Handy to the shopping centre, although having direct access would be better. Good Gym facilities with a nice view, and fluffy towels.

Car Park signage was terrible, and the entrance from the side street could do with improved signs too. When we arrived at reception we were ignored by staff for at least two minutes as they had a discussion about a previous invoice. One of them appeared to be a manager, who didn’t say a word, just walked off. Found the hand sanitizer at the elevator empty, and even after mentioning it to staff, it was never refilled/replaced. Gym could also benefit from some sanitising wipes to wipe machines before/after use.
