Leichhardt Motor Inn

The location was near in our itinerary.

This is the 3rd or 4th booking that we have in this inn and the room that we have doesn't have a charging plug near the bedside table, the aircon is not heating properly even if we put it on the maximum, the pipe under the faucet at the bathroom is leaking a bit, and I requested a ground floor beforehand as we booked but given the room upstairs. And haven't gotten much sleep because there is a commotion around 4.30am onwards at the lower ground as someone is shouting and quarelling. Overall, not a good stay at that weekend but still we will look forward to book again some other time.

This was a very spur of the moment decision to book somewhere "up the Hill" which was cooler and gave me a break from where I was staying in the Lockyer Valley. I picked the Leichhardt for its POOL(!), good location on Ruthven St, and a modest rate. The motel is a little tired, with the classic "brickwork wall" interior, and non-allocated parking...but inside the room was well-appointed, working AIRCON(!), a big comfy bed, TV, and all the kitchenette mod-cons that good motels have. The new lady manager made me feel welcome and did her best to help me out when my credit card was declined (it was maxxed out to my surprise! My fault, not the motel's) and she enjoyed a chat....once I managed to pay, I let her know that her pool was where I was heading.........ahhhh, and she gave me a late checkout at very short notice! Loved my solo stay there.....

The stock picture of the pool made it look bigger than it actually was, which was a bit of a disappointment when I used it after my arrival. But, once I'd adjusted my expectations, it was a lovely relief from two shocking days of heat. The other very minor thing, was a sticky door knob when trying to unlock my room (number 10), so perhaps that needs a little maintenance.

The owner Fiona was lovely, we connected over work talk as I used to work in the same career and she made sure that if there was any problem with our room she would happily move myself and my sister Can't wait to come back at the end of the month

The only thing that I didn't like was that the shower soap dispensers fell off the wall at one point but we just put them somewhere out of the way where we would use them and not trip over them

Loved the wall canisters of hand wash, hand lotion, bath wash, shampoo, conditioner, even shaving cream. The spa bath was a perfect size for 2 people and the jets provided a relaxing bath. Comfy bed, spacious room. Netflix in room. Lovely, accomodating manager who photocopied the carnival of flowers activities list for me. Very easy and smooth check in and check out process.

friendly staff, spacious room, the bedding and sheets felt super clean. good tv and new air conditioner . eco friendly soap dispensers. fridge , kettle , toaster, microwave oven and milk

the kettle and microwave were old. the coffee cups had coffee stains in them. in saying this I did not go to reception and ask for a new kettle or cleaner cups.

Friendly Manager. The room was clean and spacious. Well equipped with bar fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, crockery and cutlery. Free WiFi and Netflix on the TV. Pool and BBQ area was clean.

No car park assigned to room. There were plenty of spaces when we checked in early in the afternoon but when we arrived back after going out for dinner the only available space was near the exit.

The location was walkable to town and other cafes and shops. All staff were very friendly. The hotel was good value for money, clean and comfortable.

We liked everything and if I have to be picky, there was plenty of parking but not outside our room and the body lotion container was empty. Other than that we'd stay here again.

Staff were warm and welcoming upon arrival, and during my stay, the bed was comfortable. The room I was in was nice, clean, and tidy, affordable prices I highly recommend this motel and will be returning in the future. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and commitment. 🙂

The staff were so amazing especially being our trip was for my daughter's 21st. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Would most definitely stay again!

There was a small tear in the carpet in the unit (near the lamp) which is such a small issue which honestly shows just how much we enjoyed our stay!

Leichhardt motel was in a great location and at an affordable price. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

There were no dinner plates, bowls or knives and forks. The double bed was comfortable, the single bed was uncomfortable. The soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser kept leaking and was hard to rinse off. The hair dryer wall mount was broken and had to be left on top of the window sill. The front entrance should be wider, with more signage and lighting.
