Mantra Mooloolaba Beach

Very clean and spacious - 2 bedrooms Comfortable beds Apartment had everything needed and in good condition Staff very friendly and happy Plenty of secure parking underground Heated (ish) pool Next door to Coles Within walking distance to every kind of restaurant, cafe and ice cream shop. Enjoyed the night market. Overlooking ocean - beach is more sandy further up - the rocks were interesting to explore.

TV was tricky Games room bit creepy but ping pong table and air hockey good fun. Don’t look up - popcorn ceilings. Doing the splits when getting out of the shower (it’s over a big spa bath). Accommodation was a bit expensive.

We had a significant family gathering with family members coming from all over Australia. Fortunately, all our rooms were in close proximity on the same upper level floor. I don't know if this was by accident or design, none-the-less we benefitted from it

Bars and restaurants close very early at night. Also, we couldn't understand why the Mantra has closed off access to the Pavilion Restaurant out front of the facility. It was great for breakfast and sunset drinks and is fundamentally on your resort grounds. It should promoted as a place to eat, drink and enjoy the sea views without leaving the resort grounds.

Great hotel. We have stayed many times. Rooms are clean, housekeeping ladies are lovely Location is fantastic and beach front Great for kids, with heated outdoor pool, spas and a lovely heated indoor pool you can swim all year round. Games room In basement we enjoyed ..

Only dislike is it’s very noisey from road ,corridor noise & doors slamming .. We were located over the pool on 7th floor , but could still hear excessive road noise with all doors closed . Doors slamming and people going in and out of lift especially on the weekend was difficult to get kids to sleep, if your a light sleeper it’s not ideal We had a balcony with bars instead of glass which we have not had on previous stays. It does obstruct the view.

Staff remembered to wish my daughter a happy birthday when we checked in along with a little surprise for her on the kitchen bench. We loved the location as it was so close to everything we wanted and needed, the apartment was spacious and we all adored waking up to spectacular weather with an amazing view each morning.

There really wasn't too much not to like, apart from finding the indoor heated pool needing a good clean as it had a build up of algae spots in certain areas plus the beds/mattresses were a little uncomfortable and although the bathrooms were ok and fairly clean it could do with a revamp/update in the near future.

we had a shower that split open while in use and wet the whole bathroom including our clothing but when mentioned to the staff on duty they were very uncaring and just wanted us out - after paying 650 per night I expected more as all I asked for was an extra half hour to dry our clothing as we were checking out that day and after the shower accident we had to dry our clothing etc before we could get dressed to leave which was a crazy rush but the girl on reception was very sharp and abrupt so it has put us off staying with you again. She may only be a receptionist but she is the face of your brand at the time and was not a good look.

The property was ideally located. It was close to Coles, in fact the hotel had a back entrance to the group of shops near Coles. There is a Bakers Delight, Chemist, Post Office etc. And it was a short walk to the Esplanade and the beach. Our one bedroom apartment was good for our seven night stay and had all of the things needed. The staff were pleasant and helpful when ever we asked questions or required some assistance.

The apartment had Foxtel but not the channels that AFL are televised on! This does seem odd given the number of Victorians visiting the area! And the TV was small for by current standards.

The accommodation was great.

I booked this stay for business purposes and have requested a tax invoice for tax purposes and to claim expenses. However it is proving to be the most ridiculous thing to get. Why is it so hard in the age of technology. Seriously the property took the funds a week before we stayed then they said they could not provide a tax invoice until we checked in or out? So we checked out this morning could not provide one at the time. Would be emailed in a few hours. Still waiting? Very unprofessional for such a large organization.

Room was perfect for a couple, king bed was awesome, the view was amazing and the cleanliness was exceptional. The location is second to none, with everything at your fingertips, bars, restaurants, Coles, speciality shops on the esplanade and beach straight across the road. Requested a high level room as it was an anniversary weekend away and was very happy to have stayed on the 11th floor.

The fridge in the room is bar size but was big enough for a couple for a short stay. Maybe if you want to store a lot of alcohol or heaps of food it could be a problem. Plenty big enough for the essentials, milk, some alcohol, cheese, dips, fruit, meat (platter food) for a 3 night stay.

Location and view of the beach from the room was excellent, car park was great and secure.

Cleaning of the room , when you stay for 7 days I would have expected a least once the room to be cleaned and offered free clean towels and toilet paper. Fire alarm went off possibly in the foyer but wasn't sure if it was the mantra hotel or adjoining hotels as we were on Level 7 and did not have any warning lights or fire alarms on our floor to warn us that it was in fact the Mantra hotel.

We booked a self contained apartment. Unreal location.colea supermarket next door. The Esplanade right out front full of cafes. Right across the road was a playground and toilet block above a whole lot of rock pools. About 500m walk along the beach or Esplanade to the swimming beach. Apartment view was unreal. Beds super comfy. Used both indoor and outdoor pools which was great to have both facilities. Will definitely stay again.

The dryer stopped working. Maintenance came the next morning to look at though. Need to go to reception for more laundry/dishwashing powder/toilet paper as was not serviced over our 7 night stay - but this was easy enough.
