Nightcap at Camp Hill Hotel

For the price this is an excellent stay, the rooms are reasonably updated, very clean and also very quiet. The bed was good and the room had the basic requirements of a motel room. Bistro had the typical menu of a pub, food was reasonable value and what we had was good. Not only that I left my watch in the room and they posted it back to my home address, great friendly service all round.

Not really any issues, everything meet or exceeded expectations.

hallways smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, shower drains were slow to drain in shared facilities, fire alarm went off on the middle of the night (luckily a false alarm), people coming in and out of their rooms was noisy (constant auto door closing up until around midnight)

The motel gives it's guests perks like a free drink at the bar and 10% off all meals. The room was also pretty nice for something you'd get upstairs of a pub. The fridge had complimentary water bottles which I thought was cool and the bathrooms were suprisingly nice and well kept for shared facilities.

The share bathroom showers had basically no pressure, I found that fairly annoying. There were a lot of stairs to go up to get to all the rooms and I didn't see any ramp or elevator, so carrying all your stuff is annoying and if you aren't able to walk up stairs or have difficulty it would be quite inconvenient.

The layout, cleanliness of the room, it was neat. The bed and the bed linen including the pillows were comfy. Good value for money. The staff was friendly and helpfull.

There need moor hangers in the cupboard. There is no where to phand the towels. The small fridge is noisy. The even numbered room noisy at night due to the outside big aircon/ vent units.

The room had a very nice view and the bed was comfortable. It was clean and tidy with complimentary tea & coffee with some little snacks. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant and the staff were fantastic.

The shared bathroom as we are older and have many WC visits throughout the night. But with everything else in play it was the only thing I am able to fault.

Very clean and comfortable room with minimal noise from adjacent rooms or the pub downstairs. Shared bathroom had plenty of toiletries available and air conditioning worked well. Free drinks vouchers came in handy.

The hotel is a few kilometres outside the Brisbane CBD, so getting there from the airport may not be as easy if you don't have a hire car (although there was a bus service that ran on the road that the hotel is located on).

I had a blast. In fact, I'm actually still here as I booked one more night to extend my stay. I'll have to admit I got a very good deal through being a Genius (Bookings.com reward scheme) participant. But still, the facilities are good for other price points! The beds are comfy, linen professionally laundered. Although I had my own ensuite, I was opposite the ladies share bathroom and I peeked in and honestly it was more like a swanky gym bathroom with piles of fresh clean towels, toiletries provided rather than a backpackers! They give you a discount for meals at the bar downstairs. Very small and friendly bistro area. You need to be aware there ARE stairs up to the accommodation, but I liked the incidental exertion. I would NOT like it if I had heavy bags. Also, the large ensuite attached to my room was charmingly 1950s, but please at least install a grab rail to make getting in and out of the bath safer and easier. That, along with the smooth, un-tiled 1950s floors is an accident waiting to happen (hopefully not to me before my last shower before checkout tomorrow). Overall great!

I have stayed here on a number of occasions and have found the staff to be very accommodating. I booked a single room with a shared bathroom on arrival I was offered a room with a private bathroom for the same price as there are renovations being done the windows were boarded up which was not a problem for me.

Nothing, I have not had a bad experience here on the occasions I have stayed.

The price was exceptional to others offering at the time of my booking. Location is good with carindale shop center on one side and stones corner, buranda PA hospital and gabba 5 minute drive

No sleep in as it can become noisy in the morning with I house traffic. Communal shower and toilets are abit different

Staff are very friendly!! Great price if you’re looking for somewhere to stay on a budget. On arrival, you receive a complementary drink and you get 10% off of the food menu. Can’t complain about that! Considering a lot of places I stayed doesn’t offer that. Beds are very comfy!! I have been to a lot of hotels and motels, and the bed and pillows are very nice and comfy. The room is very clean and lots of toiletries. Although the rooms are above a pub, surprisingly the walls are very soundproof. So very enjoyable and great price! Definitely will come back :)
