Glen Hotel and Suites

This hotel and facility is an example of how a business should operate, staff are exceptional, well trained and know what service is. The restaurant/s is awesome with switched on and professional young staff.

The room was a King suite but only had tea making facilities, stocked bar fridge but no facilities for making snacks or food. Yes it did not indicate self contained suite so that is understandable.

The accomodation is always a high standard and staff are great.

At the restaurant we ordered pre dinner drinks to have at our table. Our roast of the day meals came out before our pre dinner drinks, and the roasts were cool, not hot. The manager did cancel the pre dinner drinks and give us free glasses of wine which was good. However if you go to the restaurant, get your own pre dinner drinks and dont order your food till you're ready to eat.

Room was very welcoming, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. We were attending an engagement party at the Glen Hotel and could walk to and from the function safely. Also walked to breakfast on both mornings of our stay for breakfast which was extremely tasty and great value for money.

The glass in the shower screen would benefit from an obvious edging as you could bump into it during the night as it was not able to be seen.

Room was quite new and was well equipped with TV great bed and a couple of easy chairs and Wifi Bar fridge and mini bar as well as tea / coffee making facilities provided. No outlook as such but as our stay was an over night one it didn't matter

We were quite happy with everything and our stay was good value that fitted our requirements perfectly

Great rooms, extremely convenient hotel only parking, the food and hospitality at the Glenn were also next level. The room was also very reasonably priced.

The road noise from the highway was a little more noticeable during peak hour and there was some noise during the night from the patrons of the botto-o and pub, but that comes with the territory/location to an extent.

The location is amazing, with amazing dining options and great staff. The rooms are furnished is a very comfortable and luxurious way, especially for the price of the room. The hotel is exceptionally competitive with price, which makes it a great place to stay.

If the parking was completely covered (like a shed kind of setup), that would have been great, as it wouldn't be difficult for someone to jump the fence. However, I was happy that there was secure parking.

Rooms are a generous size and very comfortable. The hotel restaurant being on the premises is a big plus and food quality great. Being able to order breakfast online from the donut cafe with easy pick up for breakfast in your room is excellent. The Hotel's location so close to the Gateway Motorway is another huge plus for our return trip to the Sunshine Coast.

Fantastic location, easy to get on to the motorway. Very quiet, spotlessly clean rooms, extremely comfortable and relaxing. We ordered room service for a meal and the pizzas were amazing, very impressed. Superfast room service, 20 mins on a Friday night for a meal was terrific. Parking available in a secure compound was great! Hotel reception staff were brilliant, especially Raj, so welcoming and did everything to ensure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back.

The only thing that was disappointing were the towels, they were thin and need replacing with something more plush.

The bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, room was serviced, no traffic noise, car park was secure.

A very small gripe that the toiletries were not replaced - one very small bottle of shower gel to share between the two of us for 2 nights. One face washer for two of us and we had to request towels after the room was serviced. But staff were friendly and helpful and were quick to respond to requests.

The staff were amazing, a big thankyou to Terry on front reception who really helped us out with our checking and and helping us ordering our room service. Terry was really friendly and helpful and cheerful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - loved the rooms, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!
