Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Downtown/Lake Union

Excellent and friendly staff who did their best to accommodate us (we had a bunch of people and a variety of rooms as we were attending an out-of-town wedding). Breakfast far exceeded expectations. Lovely, roomy property in a great location. Walking distance to most everything downtown.

The room type was incorrect for what we booked through Booking.com. It was cheerfully corrected to the best of their ability but resulted in a confusing couple of hour delay in getting our room. The spa tub in the swimming area was colder than the swimming pool.

Apart from the traffic to get here from the ferry port, this hotel is in a great location. It was just a quick drive from where we wanted to visit (Dinos’ Alive), and right across the street is a Yacht place with beautiful water views! The bed was really comfy to us, and having the suite was great for our toddler to have space to roam. The kitchen was great for saving money on not needing to dine out (except no oven) but I was able to cook on the stovetop & microwave, and store all our cold foods in the full size fridge. The free breakfast is also really great, a lot of choices! The playroom was fun for us. Didn’t swim or workout, but the gym is way nicer than other places we’ve stayed and 24/7. The staff were all super nice and accommodating and even got us a room up higher for a better view! Depending on where your room is from the elevator, you will be walking a lot but the elevators are pretty fast. The lobby is real pretty with a nice fountain and many places to sit. Didn’t visit the little bar/pizza place, but it looked nice too. The balcony is quite small, but we still enjoyed sitting out there and taking in the nighttime city lights. It was also quieter than expected, which was nice. I would definitely stay here again!

The balcony is small and our ice maker didn’t work in the freezer, but no big deal.

We really liked the breakfast, it was a great selection and was good. The pool/ hot tub area was really nice. We had a nice view from our 2 bedroom suite.

The staff member who greeted us didn't speak English very well and couldn't answer our questions. Then she ended up double charging me for the room that I had already paid for so it was a big hassle to undo it with the manager the next day. The furniture in the room was also extremely uncomfortable.

pets allowed, great swimming pool and hot tub for kids, breakfast included. lake union waterfront park and playground across the street so scenic place to walk the dog. chill staff. 2 bedroom suite for 3 adults and 2 kids so lots of room to be apart. great stay. February is Museum Month in Seattle so half price tickets at all the museums in Seattle if staying at Seattle hotel. winter rates are half the summer rates so we will be back next February. free parking on weekends and holidays across the street so we saved on the expensive hotel parking.

It had a convient location! We were able to get to all of the activities we had planned at a reasonable distance. Breakfast filled us up each day! The beds were super comfortable. It was nice to sit on the balcony and watch the boats! Staff was super friendly and kind.

The pool was a little small - but the kids enjoyed it anyway!

The service staff at breakfast was great. Room was a little bit small for our group but we managed. Parking was a bit challenge because we had a 12 passenger van but all good at the end because the manager let us park outside infront of the building overnight.

We reserved two queens in one of the rooms but all we got was one king. It's a little bit inconvenient.

Service team @ the front desk were wonderfully kind and energetic. Very welcoming and warm. Provided all the information and always went one step ahead to help us out

rooms are a bit dated, the pullout sofa was not comfortable but I was too tired to care for one night.

we came home and there were gentlemen in the garage and one friend was very drunk and passed out. No cameras No security. they ended up putting him on a luggage cart and took him into the hotel. I did not feel safe with my two adult kids

Good breakfast, friendly staff at bar and front desk. For long term stays, the room could use a couple baking pans/trays, plates, extra chairs in dining and living area, and sturdy kitchen garbage bags for trash and recycling.

The room had a great view, but the hall was inundated with the smell of marijuana all day long. The long-term contractors were loud at night and had to be removed from the bar.

Lobby was beautiful, breakfast was good, amenities were nice.

We stayed for 4 days and had no one check in with us for our needs in the room. We had one roll of toilet paper for the entire weekend. And one set of towels.
