Holiday Inn Express & Suites DFW Airport - Grapevine, an IHG Hotel

Spacious room, big bathroom, good amenities/appliances in the room, comfy bed, slept really well arriving jetlagged at DFW after a transatlantic flight.

Info of how to get to the hotel on arrival at DFW could be clearer. In the afternoon/evening their courtesy shuttle goes only every 2 hours. The taxi ride from the terminal to the hotel was ~ $35, which included the toll road and credit card fee. Returning to the terminal the next morning was with the free shuttle - no complaints there.

Cleanliness

The checking in. The staff checking us in instead of running and verify that the card they're charging is the same card she kept scanning instead she or their system had an old card on file and was trying to charge it and was declined each time. It took me 2 hrs and I couldn't figure out why I was getting declined. Trying all my other cards and finally she told me not happy at all

we loved everything about this hotel. our room was huge and the bed was super comfortable. loved the pillows too. there’s a Keurig coffee machine too. the bathroom amenities are Dove and we loved those. the breakfast was plenty and good, lots of different things to choose from. pancakes machine was broken and it had been broken for days we were told. they have coffee and tea available 24h.

I can’t say enough about it! Room was spacious and clean, not out dated. Bed was comfy and air and fridge worked so well. All staff interactions at different times in the day were super friendly and helpful. Even the man mopping the floor in the entryway was kind and welcoming - gave us great dinner suggestions. The free airport shuttle service and the driver were fantastic! The breakfast tasted great and was nice and hot every day - the area is well kept, as well. Very clean. So pleased with the whole experience!

The site is a bit tucked away, which is a shame because it deserves a bigger marquee space. It’s a location was convenient, but it’s tucked behind the Walmart area.

The staff went above and beyond. They clearly deserve a raise with their phenomenal customer service 27 Feb morning and 28 Feb morning. The whole crew made the stay excellent and made a permanent impact to come by again. Clean rooms mostly, nothing out of ordinary Clean waiting area and breakfast area Bathroom was good for the price Beds were Clean and good. Breakfast was really good for the price of our stay.

A/C made a bit more noise than we liked sometimes. The rest of the stay was amazing.

Stayed overnight for an early morning flight. Very friendly staff, left too early in the morning to be able to utilize the shuttle service to DFW or to enjoy a breakfast... But, the staff did offer to have a little something prepared for me for breakfast if needed and that was an excellent offer even if I did not take advantage of the offer!

The location of the hotel was surrounded by multiple food venues and entertainment venues. We went to Grapefest in Historic Downtown Grapevine and was only a short drive to and from the hotel. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Odd, musty smell in the room, we notified management about it when checking out and would have been helpful to know, when checking in - that the door handle is to be turned upward to get into the room. The front desk attendant said my room was one of her troubled door rooms - maintenance people need to change the door handle.

The room was very clean, the manager went and personally viewed the room for readiness before my purchase.

Check out was at noon and the cleaning staff were knocking and attempting room entry at 10:00 AM. They came knocking again at 11:30. I felt rushed out of my room by these actions.

located in walking distance to restaurants & near the highway. Majority of the time it was quiet at night & early morning. Breakfast offered a variety of foods . front desk staff & breakfast staff were very nice & helpful.

my room key quit working.

Breakfast was great. Loved the scrambled eggs instead of ometlets. Loved that there was BACON one day! The worker was not very pleasant. She was rude and impatient to most people and not friendly at all.

There was no BIBLE in the drawers/ Asked about it and was told they were done away with!!! Not acceptable
