Pear Tree Inn St. Louis - Arnold

The beds were great, staff were accommodating, and it was clean. I missed happy hour but that was a nice feature. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare, everyone seemed to be enjoying it. Coffee was ok. It had plenty of outlets and usb ports for all of your electronics.

A little hard to find, I tried checking in at the Drury Inn first. I am all of 5'3" and even I barely fit under the shower head. So, If you are over 5'5", be prepared to duck. There was no small light to leave on of you had to find your way to the bathroom at night. Also, no fan in the bathroom so you have to use the hairdryer on the mirror if you want to see.

Clean and comfortable stay. Was a lil dissapointed in the kickback at this location.. All they had was Chips n pretzels, wine and beer.

The front desk attendant was also the server of the wine and beer. Since she was very busy checking new guests in and running back and forth, as I got my drink I took my husband's card with me to get his, he literally 10 foot away. I said he wants his too and she wouldn't let me get them for him. She said I need him to come get it. He was literally looking at her and told her let her bring it to me. She refused, so he had to walk 10 foot across the lobby and get it. I understand rules but good grief that was totally unnecessary.

The staff members were really helpful. They had a decent amount of breakfast choices, but they were fresh hot and good. The breakfast was included in the price. The wifi were really good. The room was clean and quiet. The view was peaceful with trees all around, comparing from California where there isnt a place like that. Quick access to highway.

It was a 30 minutes drive from the main city., it was in the back which was kinda hard to find. Not much good restaurants around the area.

Wow! Phenomenal place! Beds are so comfortable. Breakfast is yummy. Everyone was super friendly. Location is great - not too far from attractions. Super clean - like we were the first people to stay in that room. Shower was good. Quiet - no noise from outside or other rooms. My favorite thing was they have a fountain drink machine!! We will definitely stay here again!

Wow. Such a super place - upscale. Why are you using cheap toilet paper???

We love the happy hour (free beer/wine drinks & snacks ) every afternoon! Staff are AWESOME especially the one who served us drinks on the 1st night July 20 ( He was very friendly). We also liked the breakfast and enyoyed the outdoor swimming pool. The location was great. Luz Delia from housekeeping did an awesome job. Thank you.

The bathroom (small space and no night light). But we love the shower!

The waffles were great! I loved how there was a microwave in the room and the beds were comfy. We loved the location is was very convenient to everything! We also was excited after a long day at the zoo to come and relax in the pool. We will be booking here again for our yearly trip to St. Louis

I'm not sure if there was anything we didn't like.

Love the views from the windows that lie beyond the parking lots. The landscaping is pretty.

The outer side of the windows need a good cleaning. The green strip of tree-lined grass needs attention, which is located between parking spaces on the side of the hotel. Branches need to be trimmed.Weeds pulled. Little bits of trash picked up. This area is an extension of the hotel's landscaping. It sets a tone and is part of the "first" impression.

Very nice hotel- friendly knowledgeable staff. Large, very clean, well stocked room! Comfortable bed/pillows. Great breakfast: good selection of both hot/cold items. Pleasantly surprised by the hot mini buffet style breakfast!!! Nice evening drinks/snacks

Evening snacks could have used a couple of healthier snacks other then just salted chips/pretzels/popcorn.

I appreciated the friendly greeting upon arrival and help when we needed something like new sheets for our room because of mystery crumbs on the bed. They even offered to switch our room due to the sheets being dirty however new sheets was appreciated enough. Our kiddo liked the traditional breakfast and we parents appreciated the complimentary drinks.

What I didn’t appreciate was no one was wearing masks within the building except a few guests and the staff. The open traditional breakfast, while good, also makes me wish it was a little more individualized for safety. The fridge didn’t seem to get very cold and I had items that needed to stay cold and frozen.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the sausage. Floors, doors, and room was clean. Great hot shower and comfy bed and HGTV. The views from our room and lobby area are spectacular.

There were sticky chairs in the breakfast area. A little girl cried because as she stated, "it's nasty." I retrieved the sanitizing bottle and cleaned it for her. Peace was restored. The hostess wiped tables, but not chairs. It extremely important to sanitize those tables & chairs everytime, after each guest. It was difficult to move between the tables. (Note: Scruffy young woman hanging in/out of vehicle across from lobby entrance in plain view of breakfast area. Her presence & purpose was a bit disconcerting.)
