Best Western Kirkwood Inn

We had made reservations with priceline only to find out the motel cancelled our reservations once we had already made the trip. They could not find another place to swap us to so left us without a place to stay. The first night the only place we could find was horrible but the second day we found you. Felt like we were in a palace compared to the first night! Loved the pool!! Great location close to many shopping and eating places.

The only thing the least bit negative I can think of is our room was at the far end of the hallway so it took a bit to get to it each time we went out but that is not really an issue since we do not have mobility problems.

Staff was friendly and informative. Close to restaurants,shopping,and not far from the downtown area. Want to give a BIG shout out to the landscaper🫡. Pots were filled beautifully with flowers, and beds looked well kept. Not something you see at many hotels 😕 Keep up the great work BW Kirkwood

I booked 3 rooms and my party that stayed in room 210 noticed what appeared to be ketsup or blood on sheer curtain going out to balcony. There was also a wasp nest on balcony overhang. Just a little oops! They still enjoyed their stay

This multi floor hotel has excellent facilities. It connects to a national chain restaurant and bar, is well decorated and clean and appealing. Room was quite comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony for my 5th floor room.

There wasn't single thing I disliked.

The location was nice, rooms were clean. Our first room was not cooling very well, which I reported to front desk and they immediately moved us to a rooms. They were very accommodating. Pool area was clean and had clean towels in abundance.

Only real issues were the AC in the first room. The other issue was the breakfast ends at 9am, literally at 9, the lady kicks everyone out right at 9 and they make you leave the dining room which is a bit crappy to me. I can see them cleaning up the food but not making you leave the room. Oh well those are my only issues.

The picture aren’t up to date. the hotel needs some tlc. our tub wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. there were stains on the wall in the bathroom like some missed the trash. the bathroom tiles grooves were filthy. the door on the bathroom door was like broken. the bar was closed. for a first timer at best western i think I’ll stick with Hilton and Marriott. cleanliness is a top priority for me and this hotel wasn’t worth the price.

The room was clean and comfy. The pool was well kept and the furniture was in good condition. The location is walking distance to plenty stores and restaurants.

Im not a fan of the breakfast but that goes for most hotels that serve this type of breakfast. It is a consolation that they have a waffle maker and other things you can have besides the eggs and such.

this property was immaculate! Beautiful from the moment we walked in and as we continued walking through the hotel, we just kept commenting to each other about how nice it was. The staff were super nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Unfortunately, we’ve been staying in St. Louis a lot over the past year due to cancer treatments at Barnes and this was by far the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in.

It was a place to lay our head for the travel through. 3 eateries within walking distance.

It was not a great breakfast, such a small area to get around. Hallways were dark. Kid's from around the neighborhood were in the pool. Was cool that they allowed them to do that and annoying because it is a small pool. Parking was awful also not very large to get around.

Stylish modern decor. Great breakfast--eggs, sausages, waffles, potatoes with sweet peppers and onions, biscuits and gravy, bagels, fruit, cereal, and yogurt. We had difficulty finding the TV channels, but the staff provided a channel directory with instructions. The hotel is reasonably close to most major attractions without the high downtown price. Mattresses were medium hard/soft. Unit was clean.

It would be helpful if the TV channel guide could be placed in every room.

Generous breakfast and it was FREE

We were told a discount was avail for Chili's restaurant ..(..which is located on level 2 on the hotel) When my husband asked about the discount the Chili's employee stated WE have NO affiliation with the hotel ....um there is also a poster in the elevator saying guests would receive a discount. Rather dirty tub and shower and a previous guest left an empty beer bottle and cigarette butts on the balconey of the room. Delightful!
