Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Forest Park

My husband and I loved everything about our stay at this hotel. From check in to check out the staff, housekeeping, dining room attendants were all pleasant, kind, courteous! The black guy in the dining room is so respectful. Awesome service!!! Stephanie at front desk goes above and beyond to assist you. The guy with the dreads who checked us in was so laid back and helpful. Got us settled quickly without any hassle. Our room was in tip top shape!!! Clean and stocked with the necessary amenities. The pool and hot tub was cleaned daily. I will definitely stay here again!!!!! Free parking. Free wifi. Free food and drinks!!!! Yesssss. I did my homework and read reviews, and I made a great choice! Floors are kept clean throughout hotel. Lobby is lovely.

There is nothing to dislike

Loved the variety of food offered, was surprised to get a hot meal and free drinks in the evening. Staff both morning and evening meals were tremendously helpful, professional, worked very hard and should be paid more, they are worth it! They represent your company, they are why I would return. Front desk staff was also professional. Coffee and hot water was available early and late, water fountain offered a filing station for your own bottles (always a plus). Rooms were quiet, easily accessible, beds were comfortable. Didn’t use the tv or microwave, but the fridge worked and the ice machine was near the elevators.

Bathroom sink drained slowly, the bathroom fan didn’t seem to work well. The air conditioning was a bit loud, but we had the fan on high and I did bring earplugs.

Always love the Drury suites! I love that it didn't smell like marijuana!!! Last 4 hotels I stayed in smelled badly of it. Take it outside peeps! The rooms are clean and staff very friendly! Kick back meals and adult drinks are wonderful! Breakfast as always was delicious! Also for so many families it was quiet! Inside/outside pool is always a hit! Beautiful building and close to lots to do.

Only one operating elevator. It happens but with all the walking from city museum and zoo, my legs were gone and one just wasn't enough! But good exercise. Hot tub jets quit after first night. But as always will still stay at Drury inns when possible!!!

Room was huge--plenty of space for my husband, teenaged son, and me in both the living/sleeping area and bathroom--and very clean. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and kickback food/drinks were both well stocked and had a number of good options for all tastes. The cabernet red wine was especially good. We didn't use the pool or whirlpool, but went in and looked at them--both looked clean and well maintained, and we appreciated that there were towels down by the pool. Underground parking was quiet and convenient as well. About five minutes driving to the zoo and 15 minutes (with normal traffic) to the must-see City Museum.

Only problem we encountered was only one of the two elevators was working...and we were on the top floor, so the waits could get long. Highway was right next to the building and could be a bit loud for lighter sleepers, but it didn't bother us too much. Per-night price was a bit steep, but was generally worth it.

Many hot food choices for the breakfast. To our surprise, the hotel even provide dinner with wine, beer and various other beverage, which is definitely beyond my expectations and makes me try to book the Drury Inn in my future trips. The staffs of the hotel are super friendly, polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is convenience for driving to Wash U and downtown of St. Louise but not within walk in distance to these places.

The air-condition was too noisy in our room, especially during the night. Kind of annoying. If possible, maybe some old type air-condition need to be replaced with new model of air-condition with silence feature.

Great free breakfast, and the food was constantly supervised to see that the selections never ran out no matter how close to ending time. The evening snacks and complimentary drinks were like getting dinner free as well. Staff were very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to serve. Loved the bartender he was great! He had such a happy and positive vibe - it was infectious! Great stay!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. It did seem that the weekend we were there the meals were primarily pork where the meats were concerned. I love pork as does my daughter, but she has developed an allergy to it so there wasn't a meat she could eat. She has other allergies as well, which we wouldn't expect a place to cater too, it just seemed like she wasn't able to eat a lot that was offered. Maybe a turkey sausage in the morning with the regular sausage patties? Just a thought. For the price, we'll worth it, however, after just recently retiring, the price was uncomfortable for me. I would love to stay there every time I visit St. Louis, but probably won't.

Everything was clean. Friendly staff everywhere. Pool was nice although it was quite crowded. Excellent location for our visit to the zoo.

Toliet was broke in the room. Maintenance did attempt to fix it.. They did make a timely effort and even asked the next morning at breakfast if it was still working. It had quit working later the nite again. We were checking out within the hour so i told them it was of no concer to us now. But did inform them that it was not functioning.

This was our first time staying at a Drury hotel and it was excellent! The hotel was nice and cleanly. The accommodations are definitely an added bonus! We stayed in a suite which was perfect for accommodating our infant, the door on the bedroom is a must with babies that need to sleep earlier than the rest of the family. The kickbacks and breakfast are super convenient, especially with kiddos! Sometimes at the end of the day after site seeing or doing activities all day going out for a meal is just too much work. It was great to have options right in the hotel. Also, major shout out to Sharee at the front desk. My little one is 2 and has been terrified of elevators. Sharee recognized one evening that she was distraught about having to get on the elevator. She kindly came over and got down on her level and asked what had her so upset. She explained that she was afraid of the elevator. Sharee came over to the elevator with us. She explained how it worked, showed her the buttons and told her that she didn’t need to be afraid that the doors open and close to keep our family safe and that could jump to help make it go. She waited at the elevator until the doors closed and even offered to ride it up with her if she wanted. Sharee’s moment of kindness made such an impact on our kiddo. Her personable nature and the compassion she displayed towards our daughter won us over. As a parent it’s hard when you’ve tried to mitigate a fear and it simply doesn’t work, Sharee recognized her discomfort and helped reinforce her safety to help her overcome her fears. We’re so grateful, Sharee was a blessing. It was a great visit we will be back!

Location of hotel was great for the area of St. Louis we were looking to explore. Very close to Maplewood, The Hill, Museums, and Botanical Garden. It was very easy location to reach being located right next to interstate 44. We did not need access to downtown STL so this was a great location. Employees were top notch.

I feel that the price I paid was a bit high. I noticed that depending on what day you book the price fluctuates wildly. I checked the price of the room if booked while we were there and the price was about 40-50 dollars cheaper.

staff was very friendly, the kick back was good decent food and the bartender was great, breakfast was decent and we had a peaceful stay loved that free soft drinks were offered 24/7, kick back (basically dinner) 5:30-7 with 3 free adult drinks per adult.

room looked clean and seemed clean other than my son found used chapstick under the ac unit and their was a Nike clothing tag in the floor but other than that everything seemed clean
