Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Downtown

We were in Louisville for a concert at the Palace so the location was perfect. Check in was easy. The room was great. Bed comfortable. Messaging on the TV's at check-in was a nice touch. Here's a big deal: I'm 66 and I could read the labels on the shampoo, body wash, etc., without having to put my glasses on. First non-Air BnB we've stayed in with that feature. 8UP was a lot of fun both on Friday and Saturday night. Probably spent $200 bucks up there.

Signage from the parking garage elevator to the Lobby could be better. We noticed other guests with the same look of bewilderment. Only one roll of TP...almost had to come down to the desk on Sunday AM before check-out but we made it. That's not great.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Overnight parking cost, in comparison with other hotels in the downtown area was excellent. Meal cost and although I did not have an opportunity to take advantage of it, the rooftop lounge was excellent.

The location was perfect. In town for my aunts funeral services. Everything was within 10 mins.

The front desk staff seemed uninterested in assisting guests. I had a late checkout and I was late getting back. I called to tell them I was in route. Want to make sure my belongings weren't moved. The guy who answered said. "Well, I don't know because I just got here". So I told him "Well, can you check?" At check in, I had to ask about parking and how to navigate thru the hotel.

We loved everything about this place. Staff was nice. Room was excellent. Location was great. Shuttle bus was a a wonderful bonus. Bob the driver was great and very informative. The roof top dinning was beautiful!!!

The parking garage that is located beside the hotel is a public garage and not connected to the hotel so the parking is $20 a day but well worth it. The hotel does give you a voucher to come and go free of charge. You just pay for the day.

Hotel was convenient and within walking distance of 4th Street Live and restaurants and a coffee shop nearby. 8 up, the bar with its outside patio and great view on the 8th Floor was a treat.

Room smelled like wood smoke and unfortunately there was a band in the Corner of Chestnut and Fourth, that you could here from the fourth floor where Our room was located. They played til 3 or 4 in the morning. I finally fell asleep somewhere around 3:30 a.m. The Bed was also a bit firm for my liking based on newer hotels in which we've stayed but overall it slept comfortably, just not dreamy.

Check in was quick and easy, staff was great and very understanding. I asked for a crib to be available in the room, and it was ready to go when we arrived. Hotel was very clean, the room was large and the fold out couch was easy to set up. I used the gym in the morning, which was clean, easy to access and available 24/7. We ate breakfast - hot, quickly made and everybody was super friendly.

Parking was a bit difficult to find due to a lack of signs. They also had a difficulty figuring out if we had free breakfast or not as our booking website didn't transfer that information to the hotel automatically. Otherwise it was really great, would gladly stay here again and recommend it.

I really enjoyed the safety of the facility. the fact that you needed to have a card pass to get onto guest floors on top of the keys for the rooms themselves was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

I think on the website it should be more clear that there is not an included breakfast with the room. It may have been said on the reservation site; however, I don't recall seeing anything about it.

This hotel is in a great location for many restaurants and other venues. Rooftop restaurant is definitely a plus but is always busy so hard to get a table. Loved the security in the elevators. Had to scan your card to get to any floor. Staff was amazing!!!

This hotel in on a main road and gets very loud at night. Pillows were feather so hurt my neck hurt.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The pillows were very nice. A/C worked great. Hot shower. Loved having a Keurig, microwave, and mini fridge (with mini freezer) in the room. A great location for the Palace. It was a clean place to stay. Super nice front desk staff.

Shower leaked onto the floor, soaking the bath mat.The waiter in the restaurant was a tad rude and forgot my requested item. The pork sausage was out of stock so we chose the turkey sausage. It was very tough making it inedible.

The room and location was great. We had a short walk to food and entertainment to watch the game. The staff was great and gave us great service and friendly advice. It’s right next to our Command HQ so we will stay again.

No coffee in room and no coffee creamer. I had to look for a cleaning cart to find out there was none available. We finally got some KCUP’s but never found a coffee cup. The cleaning crew did not offer to get us one either. But otherwise the hotel was great.
