La Quinta by Wyndham Sarasota Downtown

The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful with dinner/late night items; the breakfast staff was also very helpful with food items. Location was incredibly close to all Sarasota attractions. Pet friendly was definitely a plus. Very comfortable bed.

Our room was not cleaned during one of days there; There were bugs in our room. The breakfast area was way too small to provide adequate seating.

Breakfast was good except they change the times from the weekend to week day soo we missed it on Monday.

Pool was still locked at 1:00 pm and there was broken equipment and the life ring was not hanging up. Also the pool could have been cleaner.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable , the front desk people friendly they clean and change bathroom towel daily the hotel is close to downton and bay front park walking distance 10-15 minutes but uber or lyft only $ 5-8 dollars if you don't wants to walk

Anything that was lacking they made up for in other ways. I felt so comfortable and was able to have my cat...who is my child...with me. I've never felt so comfortable. I'm disappointed because I was trying to extend my stay and they don't have a room available tomorrow. So I'm going to have to go to a different hotel. I'm sure wherever I end up will not be as comfortable. The room is a few more dollars its definitely worth it. I thank all of the pleasant staff.... I ended up going down and talking to that wonderful employee...and she found a cancelation and was able to give us the same room! You have made my day!!! I wish i knew your name.

There was only one employee that made me feel very uncomfortable when i asked for clean towels and supplies...she wouldnt give me anything...but when i called the front desk...the lady was so sweet..and delivered them to my door. That made up for the other employee. Other than that one person everything was great.

Bed was comfy! Breakfast was organized could of used more seats. Room was good but had trouble with TV connection.

Staff were great, very helpful, smiling faces. But I have to give a big applause to Angie she went over expectations to please us. As soon as I told her that it was my fiance bday she left and came back with balloons and a bday banner. She stayed with us at the pool on her free time celebrating with us. Beautiful heart. God bless Angie. Manager Angie is a keeper! Thank you Angie

When arrived there were no pillows on our room. Weird right? But asked receptionist why and she got us some pillows.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Firm but supportive. Location was good. Pool was nice. Price was awesome. Bagged breakfast is all they allow and it came with decent selection although I would have loved some sort of protein in it. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean.

The pillows needed upgrading and I would have liked more than 3. We usually use 2 each. As with most budget hotels, the room needed a little TLC (touch up paint, minor stains on carpet).
