Best Western Sonoma Valley Inn & Krug Event Center

The property is in a great location. The rooms were better than we expected. They were definitely clean, the bathroom products smelt nice. Property is right across a plaza with Whole Foods, CVS etc and a mere 2mins walk to Sonoma Square

We did not get a room in the best spot despite the property not being completely full. It did feel like we were given the last room on the property right before the construction zone. There were very few vegetarian or vegan breakfast items.

The hotel's appearance overall was attractive, with trees and plants surrounding the building and the inner pool area. The room was quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast choices were more than adequate. The location is walking distance from the square and from the events we attended. Having shops nearby was a plus.

I prefer to have a brighter level of lighting available in the room. (Lighting in the bathroom and sink areas was just fine.). The parking charge was modest, but it would have been nice to have it included.

The property is very close to Sonoma City Square and right across the street from Whole Foods. The property is well maintained and the staff is friendly and eager to assist. There is a nice pool with plenty of clean towels and there is a outdoor jacuzzi. I stayed in the suites which was private and gated. I really liked my room in the suites area. The only reason my rating was a 9 and not a 10 is the room is in need of a refresh. The carpet needs to be replaced, I had to wear slippers the whole time I was in my room. The other thing that should be shared is there is no elevator so if you on on the top floor as I was you will need to manage bringing your suitcase up the stairs. I was able to do it but not everyone would be able to manage this. I absolutely loved the charm and spaciousness of my room. I would definitely stay there again, hopefully when I do the old carpeting will have been replaced. My favorite feature was the fireplace which I did use one night and really enjoyed. I also enjoyed the balcony.

Just the fact that the carpeting needs to be replaced.

The location is excellent for the area. The breakfast was pleasant. The sitting courtyard very peaceful

Convenient downtown Sonoma location, spacious room with working fireplace and complimentary presto log every day, great maid service every day our room was immaculate!

The grab and go breakfast really wasn’t our thing but we preferred to eat breakfast out and the Big Bear diner across the street filled the bill wonderfully. Then mini fridge door didn’t stay closed properly but we didn’t use it much anyways…

The room with balcony and bathroom were spacious and charming. But the best thing was the staff. They are ready to go over and above their line of duty. Peter offered me some food and tea since I got to the hotel late and hadn’t had dinner. A day later, I booked a hot air balloon trip after 10pm for 5:30am that very next morning and was worried I’d have no transportation. After calling around to try to get me a taxi, Marie offered to drive me there herself at 4:45am. In the end, the balloon company picked me up but Marie’s generous offer and friendliness will always be remembered. Shout out to Marie, Peter, and supervisor Kendall for their excellent standard of hospitality!

The room was very good sized and clean, loved having a refrigerator & a microwave, also coffee maker. All the staff were very pleasant and nice. We love the courtyard area by the pool, very relaxing. We came for the Nascar Race and it's close to that and some nice wineries.

I'm sure it's due to staffing shortage, but did not like how you didn't get room made up daily you had certain days for that and the other days you could get clean towels, more coffee maker stuff, cups, etc. I don't have to have my room with new sheets everyday but just made up would be nice considering what we paid for the rooms.

The amenities are nice. The pool and jacuzzi and grounds are pretty. The room has a fireplace, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc.

The pillows. The air conditioner was a little noisy when running. The worse part was the pillows, very hard and almost like there were rocks in them. I should have brought my goose-down pillow.

Good location in the centre of town, close to restaurants, tasting rooms and bike rental shops. Courtyard area with pool, hot tub and steam room looked great although we didn’t have time to make use of it. One tip - try the Black Bear diner over the road!

Most of the staff were quite grumpy and offered limited advice or help. Very expensive for the quality, although appreciate wine country isn’t a cheap area…

The room was spacious and comfortable. I liked the layout of the motel which made the rooms feel more private. The inner courtyard with pool and breakfast area was very pleasant, especially with the flowering plants. It feels like they have gone to a lot of trouble to make it a peaceful and welcoming place. Definitely recommend.

Not much. A fridge would have been useful.
