Embassy Suites by Hilton Napa Valley

The grounds were beautiful and rooms were spacious! Overall a very pleasant experience Each morning we had a delicious full breakfast and happy hour every night too. This was definitely a Plus!!

Although we had a beautiful stay, the only things I can say that we were disappointed in was the temperature of the room. No matter how we set the thermostat, the heat was pumping all night that really made our first night uncomfortable. After alerting the front desk, they explained that is how it is at night, no AC just heat. They provided a box fan for comfort, but it didn’t help much so we had to open the sliding door at night, that didn’t even have a screen. One other disappointment, was the fee for parking. it wasn’t even valet? i felt the parking fee was too high.

From the moment we entered into the foyer of this beautiful hotel we were greeted by Stephanie at the front desk. We actually arrived about 2 hours early and although our room wasn't quite ready yet, we were offered the chance to lay out at their outdoor heated pool. The staff offered to have our luggage stored and they gave us a card key to enter the pool. Manny gave us a quick tour of both their indoor and outdoor pool area and where we could change. This was just the start to our first year wedding anniversary/honeymoon. Our room was perfectly setup, from the entrance of our mini living room to the back bedroom; it was all so clean. A nice bottle of Raymond Cab was waiting for us too(nice touch). It is always so nice to come "home" to a clean room and made bed. We never had any issues with the housekeeping services. The included breakfast buffet was just the right amount to begin our day and of course the free wine/cocktail hour from 5-7 did not disappoint. The grounds of this hotel are nicely appointed. We loved hanging out in the courtyard to admire the ducks and white swan. We loved the location which is just under a mile from a nice and safe walk to downtown Napa. We highly recommend a stay here.

The room was great, clean, and the facilities were beautiful with waterfalls and great scenery. The breakfast was the best thing about the place. They had a sizeable continental breakfast but also had an omlett and pancake station where they took custom individuals orders, which was included in the price of the stay. They also had a bar in the morning, where you could get mimosas, bloody mary's or other drinks for a small charge. Lunch/happy hour food was not great (cheese and crackers) but they give you two adult beverages a day at no extra charge.

The happy hour food was sparse and the swimming pools were small.

Breakfast was very nice with good selection and they make omelettes fresh to order (included in room rate). There was beautiful water feature by the dining area with tables outside A happy hour was actually 2 hours and not half priced but free - amazing! Also free substantial snacks to go with. Note each ticket/person provides 2 free drinks. We had four but 2 were not alcohol drinking age so we had theirs. Found the wine was best choice. Of course it was Napa wine. Really pleasant surroundings with fountains, palms and high ceilings in foyer and dining area. Rooms were spacious.

Be on time for breakfast! or you miss out. Fair enough but first morning was hard due to jet lag and missed out.

Loved this hotel! Very serene and relaxing. The staff was amazing, and we had a great time meeting the bartender and hanging out on the grounds! Even though the hotel is close to the freeway the water features drown it all out. You feel very secluded in the best way. Location to first street was AWESOME! Breakfast assortment was wonderful!! Will definitely stay again.

We woke up a little hungover from all the wine tasting and would have loved the option to have room service for breakfast to our room, however we only saw the room service option for lunch and dinner. The continental breakfast was amazing! It just would have been nice to have the option to have an assortment brought to our room, even if it was a paid extra,

Breakfast was exceptional: made to order omelets and pancakes; buffet had a lot of variety. Room was very spacious and we loved having a separate sitting room to relax and watch TV. We did appreciate having our room cleaned every day. location was also excellent, as we could walk into downtown Napa and it was easy access off CA29 to and from vineyard visits.

Didn't appreciate the $20 for parking. On my last stay, parking was free. The lot is plenty big and they could simply issue stickers for guests to keep out non-guest parking.

The room was very clean and the bathroom seemed newly refurbished. Breakfast was decent and the eggs made to order were a nice bonus. The evening happy hour was also a nice perk. The hotel was in a great location to tour both Sonoma and Napa.

Paying for parking as a hotel guest was annoying. At least one car should be included with each room. Additional vehicles could be charged extra, but Napa is a place where one needs a car and the rooms aren't inexpensive, so a parking spot shouldn't be extra.

overall thought that accommodations were really nice! great location to downtown and the wineries. The staff was pleasant and the free breakfast was an added plus. Would stay here again!

We had been out all day, and didn’t utilize the hotel until it was basically time to sleep. Totally could have been user error BUT it was so hot sleeping in our room. we tried adjusting the thermostat but only made the situation worse. that was the only downside.

The property is nice, very pretty overall. I liked the atrium. The outdoor courtyard/patio area is very peaceful and beautiful. We really appreciated the different sink areas in our room and mirrors. We were a family of five, so that helped when we were getting ready. The breakfast that’s included is fantastic! A ton of options. Made to order food!! Happy hour was also fun! Great drink options.

The indoor pool area did not look very clean. Our room was not as impressive as we’d hoped, for a luxury executive suite. Appetizers for happy hour could have been better.

The accommodation was good sized for a family of six to stay for two nights. The outdoor water features are quite cool. The hotel has made-to-order hot breakfast options that are really good. Our toddler enjoyed spending time in the jacuzzi, and even took a dip in the shallow end of the large indoor pool.

The posting appeared to suggest that the room has a kitchen, the kitchen did not have a stove so there was no way for us to use the groceries we carried with us to fix quick meals for the toddler. The sofa bed was not very comfortable to sleep on.
