Star Route 66 Grand Canyon

This is an older Motel that has been updated. The room was very clean and fresh. I reserved the room with a requested a handicap room. No smoking room and not upstairs unless there was an elevator. Upon arrival, they did not have handicap rooms but keep us on the main floor. And it did have a walk in shower, the only problem was the bathroom, was so small a person would have to go out of the room to dry and dress. Other than that a fun route 66 adventure!

Not a lot of choices in Williams but we were very happy with our cute little room. King size bed was very comfy. Property was walking distance to just about all of the Main Street. Staff was very friendly. Just keep in mind this is an OLD building that has been renovated it’s not fancy and the rooms are small. But as I said my room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I would stay here again.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t really like. But as noted above the rooms are pretty small.

Heating unit made loud enough noise we just turned it off. Room 107

My room was right in 66. I was second's from route 66 shopping. Also 4th of July parade came right down the street I could see it from my room. Staff went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

The second room didn't have a ac in it. But they provided a fan. Also when I asked for another fan they gave me a portacool and we were completely comfortable.

Great location, comfortable beds and our room had two queen size beds in separate rooms. It was nice and quiet and you could walk to everything from our hotel. I didn't need anything fancy since we weren't in our room most of the time but I really enjoyed our stay and we will stay there again next time we visit. Side note my daughter has autism and having the separate room with a door she could close and have her own space was a huge plus for me!!

It was a very comfortable room with the second bed in its own attached room, which was great. We were in a great location to walk around the town. It was such a fun surprise to find Williams. We hadn't planned on staying and so we booked the room last minute because we were having a great time walking around the town.

Super quiet and great location to walk everywhere. We tied up our trash, wiped down the bathroom, and stripped the sheets for housekeeping, we know it’s not an easy job to flip hotel rooms :)

Ended up cleaning the tile because the floor left our socks unwearable. Carpet had dirt and debris including small pebbles. If the floors were clean, we would book again.

Truly excellent location in Williams, AZ walked to Grand Canyon train, restaurants, shops. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, good parking at no extra charge. Room was very clean!

Bathroom door stuck when opening and closing. No counter space at all in bathroom. Tissue stuck in wall where light switch was moved looked a bit shabby, as did tissue in peep hole. All else fine and met expectations.

Great location, near NAU, walking distance to historic downtown. In room coffee, microwave, fridge.

Does not have daily housekeeping, though you can get additional towels, etc. at the office. Room had straight -back chairs at the table, but not a comfortable one for relaxing or watching TV.

Loved the location and the original feel of Route 66. Staff was great, very kind and helpful to share good sight-seeing, main attractions and best times to see things.

Room was a little aged, but it is an original hotel I didn’t expect a brand new place. We wanted the Route 66 feel.
