My 3rd stay at this property this year & I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. I travel 4hrs up the country to a nearby motocross track for work as a photographer & I need a good night sleep which I always have here. The property owner contacted me a few days prior to let me know there was a town carnival going on & made sure I was aware of the road closures. The town carnival looked fabulous & even the pub next door was packed with people & live music. Now I’m not sure if I’m a heavy sleeper but I didn’t hear a thing once in my room & the event was completely finished by 11pm. Room & bathroom is ALWAYS pristine clean & always an added bonus to have a mini fridge. Thank you very much & I look forward to staying again in February!

The room was very comfortable and had good amenities such as tea/coffee making facilities. The towels were luxurious and of good quality. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom had good selection of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. A good walk in shower with good water pressure. The location was very good as you were in the centre of town and a short walk to the train station or bus stop.

I would of liked a couple of spare toilet rolls. There was only one in the bathroom when I arrived for a 4 night stay. The car park is shared with the White Lion pub and got rather full and noisy.

Room has been done to a very beautiful standard. Having 2 story windows really made the room feel special & really great lighting. Bathroom was stunning, all the features are to a very high standard. Bed was super comfy & the light fixtures on the headrest were a nice touch! Parking right outside the front door which is a plus! Before I stayed at the property, I looked at the reviews & there were a few mentioning the noise of the pub next door. Well I stayed on a Saturday through to Sunday & I did not hear a sound. Rooms next to me were occupied also & no noise heard. Tea/coffee/biscuits/mini fridge all adding to a great experience. Overall just a really lovely place to stay, I am booked in to stay again later this year!

I honestly can't think of anything & I am normally someone who likes to give advise on what could be better as I stay in different accommodation a lot throughout the year & think the customers feedback is important.

This was my 3rd or 4th time staying here & it was great, as it always is. Perfect location for my work & very close to shops to get everything you need. I stayed in room 5 this time & think it is my favourite! Love the room layout & the fact the bathroom is separated by a teeny corridor/entrance space! Love that you can adjust the temperate of the room (I’m always cold). All in all, a great night stay & look forward to staying again. Thank you

Location was good with car parking free for those staying at the accommodation. Bedroom was slightly smaller than expected but all amenities were available such as tea, coffee and a few biscuits. A mini fridge is also available. All areas were very clean and well presented. For food, The co-op is not too far (5 minute walking distance) and plenty of restaurants and pubs within the vicinity.

Anyone considered to be a light sleeper may not appreciate the noise from pubs crowds after closing. The sounds tend to drop after midnight but something to bare in mind. There's not a lot of room for storage so large suitcases are not recommended.

This was my 2nd stay at The Coaching Barns & again, it was so lovely! Stayed in a different room this time but still the same cleanliness & comfort. Nice added extra to have a fan due to the warmer weather! Also another thing to add is it’s so great that you get a small fridge as I was up for a 2 day event & like to have cold water for the following day & store fruit etc. Due to stay here again in September which I know will not disappoint. Thank you!

The Room was lovely and spotlessly clean, lovely location. Didn't have to deal with the noise from the pub opposite (because we were in there) Ample parking All round amazing stay A very large bedroom and bathroom, with a extremely comfortable bed, very soft and lovely to sleep in Plenty of lighting and one switch by the bed turned it all of.

Only a couple of bad points there was only one toilet roll for 2 people for 2 days. Also the toilet roll holder was very low to the ground which we thought was unusual. As a larger gentleman I did struggle to get into the shower as the door wouldn't open far enough, but I did manage. Still an all-round amazing room and location would definitely stay there again.

A traditional exterior coupled with a top class modern interior. Congratulations to whoever created the design and executed it. All the usual amenities were provided in a spotless interior. In a quiet area with a small shopping centre just around the corner. Highly recommended. Free parking with the White Lion Hotel next door.

Unfortunately, television reception became very bad and fully pixilated as the evening progressed.
