The property was very clean and tidy, in a nice location. It was right next to a large publice pay and display car park, but because I have a disabled badge, I was able to park overnight free of charge, which was a nice bonus. The landlady was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, and clean, with a kettle, tea and coffee, milk and sugar.

There was a small step down into the bathroom, which wasn't enough to put me off, but it is worth mentioning as I walk with crutches. Also, I struggled to get in and out of the shower as I am quite large, and it was very narrow. I cannot stand in a shower due to my damaged knees, so I have to kneel down, which was quite difficult due to the size of the cubicle, but I managed to use it, and this would not put me off from returning, either.

-Excellent Welcome and very comfortable room... -Good location in the centre of Sleaford, good choice of restaurants/bars within 3mins walk... -Impressed the way the staff will go above and beyond, and make sure your car has a valid parking ticket in the public car park, for the guests who are 'late risers'... -Large breakfast... -Small thing - but at last, a pleasure to find a premises that provides a lot of the little milk cartons in the room for a 'room cuppa'... -Small bar on the premises for guests - extra bonus...

We stayed midweek so caught the 'buisness' timings for breakfast...it was however worth getting up early for an awesome cooked breakfast...

The staff was really super helpful during our whole stay. We arrived on the Friday for a wedding on the Saturday and we asked on arrival if it was possible to arrange some taxis to and from the wedding and our host did organize it very efficiently, especially since we learned from the other guests that they had had difficulties to find taxis. She was also very helpful on the Sunday when my friend got her first train cancelled to find a solution, she was fully invested. Appart from that, they were all the time very nice and accomodating! The Full English in the morning was also a highlight!

The owners and staff were very friendly. Parking is in a council car park. When I went out, I found the car already had a ticket on it. I assume Claire or her hubby had done that for us. Just a nice touch that makes your trip a bit more special. They were also great fun in the bar. Just incredibly helpful and great fun. If we get back to the area we will stay there for sure. Hubby makes wooden items for the garden, we came home with 4 bird boxes. They will make great presents. Breakfast was very nice. The bar is cozy. We never took dinner, maybe next time we should.

From the 1st phone call to leaving the next day the owners & staff at the Mallards were just perfect, so very accommodating to our needs as we were in Sleaford to attend a wedding. They even saved me from receiving a parking ticket after I messed up with my ticket & so as a thank you to them we will make a reason to stay again. The full English breakfast was really nice & made with quality items also plentiful.

I can't fault the Mallards or its staff at all.

The location is excellent - very central so everything's within walking distance. There is ample parking, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. A lovely breakfast is also included in the price. Our room was very comfortable for the two of us, but it was also an excellent family room with an extra bed in a little room off the main space. Perfect for a couple with a young family. The room also had plenty of tea and coffee - and a little fridge as well! So really good.

Nothing we didn't like. We were very happy with our stay.

The staff at The Mallards were extremely efficient and wonderfully accommodating. My car was parked behind in the council car park which charges from 08.00hrs, each morning a fresh parking ticket had been placed on my windscreen so I didn't get a penalty ticket, brilliant. Breakfast was fantastic, though be careful as the full English is a mission to complete, I chickened out on the second day and went for poached eggs instead. There is a full English under 12's option which I suggest considering if you're not a professional eater

Light sleepers may find the noise migration an issue. If you do suffer with being disturbed by noise I would suggest asking for an upstairs room. Not an issue for me as I can generally sleep through anything

Lovely woman who did breakfasts and booked me in. Bed was comfy, room plenty big enough. Breakfast was very nice, and they handled all my dietary requirements perfectly - so good! 1 hour free parking in the car park was helfpul, and the staff were always helpful gettijg tickets to put in the car. Car patk had plenty of space right behind the b+b, so it wasn't like leaving your car in an open car park. Very helpful, pleasant and comfy.

I heard the church bells one night, but 2nd night seemed better. Shame that the car park did charge!

From the minute I arrived I was made to feel at home. The breakfast was excellent and when asked about the possibility of a packed lunch the answer was immediately yes - this saved me having to mess around during a very busy working day. As the weather was very hot I was going through work clothing very quickly, again without hesitation I was told the washing machine was available if I needed it. This was like staying with old friends, will always go back to the Mallards if I am in the area.
