The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The whole place was very clean and nicely decorated. The bedroom itself had plenty of storage space, and the bedding was of good quality. The beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom appeared quite new and was spotless with good towels. There was plenty of free parking.

The bedroom was dark even with every light on, and as the window looked out to an area where people were passing and also into the dining area, the curtains couldn't be opened. This made it difficult to see at the dressing table mirror to dry hair etc. There was no storage at all in the bathroom. I felt that the breakfast selection of cereal, teas, etc was quite poor.

Me and my 5 year old and 6 year old daughters stayed overnight on Saturday 29th April due to attending a dance comp the next morning. We arrived at roughly 4.30pm and a really lovely lady welcomed us and checked us in. Nice and quick, even though it was quite busy in the restaurant part for people having evening meals she made sure we were seen to quick and explained everything. We were in the anex building in a family room, absolutely beautiful room, so clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing too! My girls loved their bunk beds! We had evening meal in the restaurant/bar and it was beautiful, they provided colouring books and activities for my daughter's to keep them occupied. Our overnight stay was lovely so comfortable and quiet. The next morning we went for breakfast and my daughters were all dressed ready for their dance comp and the staff made extra effort to make them excited asking all about their outfits and made my oldest daughter so happy that she got to show the lady a picture of her dance suit! Breakfast was beautiful, again nothing to fault. We are really looking forward to booking here again.

Nothing.

Nice pleasant hotel, reasonably priced particularly as it included breakfast. Check in staff were welcoming and informative. Beds were comfortable. All in all a pleasant stay.

Room was a bit dark; the shower pressure wasn’t great. There was no explanation as to how breakfast worked in the morning (you had to order cooked breakfast at the bar which wasn’t immediately apparent). We dined in the restaurant in the evening and when we tried to use the link corridor to return to our rooms, the door was locked and we had to go outside to get back in which was a bit odd.

Loved the decor. My room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. Great to have ample free parking An environmental choice of not having your room serviced and towels changed everyday was rewarded with a free drink in the bar in the evening. I loved their garden room. And in the evening to sink into one of the many armchairs with a drink and reflect upon the day Great stay - well done Seaton Lane Inn!¡😀

The rooms were well appointed and had all facilities advertised. Booking in was strange as we had to go into the bar and wait for someone to come free. we were a couple of hours early so had to come back for the 15:00 booking in time. The staff were friendly.

We booked an evening meal for the four of us for our first night, but there were a lot of things not available which were on the menu, but we didn't find out about until we tried to order. Breakfasts were good but on the first morning there was nobody telling us what the procedure was, and we had to work out that you helped yourself to tea and coffee and anything off the continental offering, but had to order the cooked meals from the bar.

I was expecting a very similar experience to a Premier Inn as I feel lots of organisations try to follow this model. What I received was far better. The room was comfy, the bar area was really comfortable. The rump steak I had for dinner was delicious. I travel to this area for work regularly and I will be staying here again

A fan would have helped as it was so hot. The Wifi wasnt strong enough sadly for me to be able to work so I had to use my phones hotspot,

Staff were really friendly, room was comfortable and clean. There was a music event in the orangerie on the Saturday night which I had been advised about with a phone call a few days before - this was really helpful and I was allocated a quiet room at the end of the corridor. I really appreciated that they took the trouble to let me know.

There could have been more options for vegans and vegetarians on the menu, but the vegan option I tried, and the vegetarian breakfast were very nice.

Lovely room very comfortable facilities great refreshments provided and a lovely clean shower and comfortable huge bed. Nice towels and linen. The breakfast was superb. The type you get on 5* hotel breaks. Eggs royal, Benedict and florentine and craster kippers. Absolutely amazing. We stayed in the lodge. You also get a sleep pack including ear plugs. You also get full bottles of wash and conditioner and hand wash so no need to bring big bottles of products. No body lotion though.

There seems to be a lack of soundproofing which is why you get a sleep pack including ear plugs. If you stay in the lodge by the main door expect a constant banging of the door all hours and congregations outside the window smoking. This is family accommodation and reflected in the noise. We weren’t too bothered but I’m mentioning this for any couples who are noise sensitive room 19 won’t suit as it’s next to the main entrance door that bangs. The room was also very dark. Still a very nice stay though and very comfortable. The pluses far out weigh the negatives.

Friendly staff, good size room, nice selection of food for breakfast, free parking, free wifi and dog friendly. Asked for a low floor room with a walk in shower and was given the disabled room with a wet room. This included hand rail by the toilet and a seat in the shower, and rail on the actual bathroom I always take my own mat and handle but was really pleased with the hotel's facilities. Also during this mini heat wave I was pleased to see a fan in our room without even having to ask. Great service

Too many steps for disabled even to access lower ground room from car park, steps throughout the property. Wasn't offered assistance with our luggage even though I am disabled.Prices of food for guests at Lunch and evening could be reduced for guests. Played an evening quiz with mainly staff and was explained rules by an outside company, no phones/cheating or u would be disqualified, and yet two teams who both placed and won prizes, used phones even when I mentioned to the quiz master that they were. It's meant to be fun but there was money and a weekend break to win. Which were both won by staff members? Just ruins the fun.... 🤬
