Burlington Hotel

I cannot comment on the breakfast as the kitchen is being refurbished the hotel itself is being completely done up I stayed in the part that had been it was excellent the manager went above and beyond to please us really lovely lady couldn’t do enough for us the hotel itself is excellent value for money only stayed for a couple of Nights but would definitely come again thank you Burlington I can highly recommend it

The beds are quite hard for my liking but then I am used to sleeping on memory foam which is really soft that’s just my preference

i booked 2 single rooms as i was travelling with a friend, upon arrival i was told i had no bookings,luckily i had confirmation on my phone,after some debate a twin room was found,not ideal but a room.The next day after speaking to reception,my booking was found,although it was under my friends name??,despite the booking and payment in my name,at this point there seemed little point in moving rooms and in all fairness to hotel,we were offered and accepted breakfast as some recompense,the mix up was quite inconvenient but, we made the most of the 2 nights we stayed.

The rooms were clean and well presented . The staff were friendly , polite and very helpful. We were able to book in early and park the car directly outside the hotel free of charge . The room itself had a dinning table and chairs as well as tea and coffee making facilities with the tea, coffee , milk and sugar supplied . The bathroom had a shower . The location is brilliant ! Walk a few meters to the end of the road and you are at the beautiful sandy beach ….. There is at least 2 bus stops within walking distance of the hotel so if you need to use public transport there’s no worries . There are cafes and a fish and chip shop , again very close by , and the Dinosaur Isle museum is a stones throw away too . I would definitely recommend staying here .

The roadside room can be a bit noisy but nothing the hotel can do about that .

The Hotel was located near to the beach. The parking facilities was excellent, with plenty of marked bays. The hotel bar was excellent with a good selection of wines, beers and spirits and the bar staff very friendly.. The availabilty of the guest laundry room is a feature we did not expect and was very useful.

We was under the impression there was a Pool and Spa on site but this had been discontinued. We was made aware of this after we booked. On arrival there was still a sign up at the front of the hotel advertising these facilties.

Location was excellent staff second to none couldn’t have been more helpful manager Sarah was awesome the way Sarah runs her hotel from the time you walk in to the day you leave Sarah was there to help if needed help or answers I would totally recommend this hotel to my family and friends without hesitation and will be going back for sure

I wouldn’t change anything location was fab staff were awesome so hard working just loved how friendly they all are to work just after the pandemic knowing how difficult it has been for the hospitality profession they are one in a million to run such a wonderful hotel so clean and fresh smelling every day well done to all there

The hotel is right next to the beach, you can see the sunrise when you go out. There are coastline buses and several other buses nearby. Downstairs there are convenience stores and some delicious restaurants.The breakfast was very rich and even surprised me. A reading area and record player are also provided in the hallway.

The room is a bit small, especially the toilet. Walls and doors are not very sound proof

Sarah the new owner was amazing. She was so accommodating. All her staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has been renovated well.We had a lovely ground floor room with a walk-in shower. All meals were great. A buffet style breakfast was a welcome change. We only had B&B but wanted an evening meal one night which Sarah sorted straight away. Entertainment was really good. Bingo every night. Location was super. A stones throw away from the sea front and lovely little pub was opposite the hotel which made a refreshing pit stop in the afternoon before the hotel bar opened.

The one negative is the matress needs to be changed as it was too soft and dipped in the middle.

The staff were all very helpful & friendly, the room was sufficient. The facilities available were good.

The restuarant was not open for an evening meal on the Sunday evening as there were no coach parties in just individual guest (Why should this make a difference)? It also didn't open Bank Holiday Monday morning until 9am far too late for us to have breakfast before catching the ferry off the Island. (All weekend the restuarant had been open from 7am for breakfast)!

Breakfast and evening meals were good. The room facilities were excellent, given that one of us has mobility issues. So no problems.

Organisation at meal times could have been better. A large coach party was staying, and we felt we could have been left out being served at the evening meals. But we were served, with a slight delay. Also, at breakfast, our table was a fair distance from the serving area, and this was a bit problematic given mobility issues.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The manager went the extra mile to help us when we needed anything. The location was great very near the beach and pubs and resteraunts. The hotel was clean and had been recently refurbished and looked really nice. Also plenty of parking spaces at the hotel was a real bonus.
