Carnson House

super close to train station and bus station… the train and bus station are next to each other and this B&B is about 3/4 minuet walk away. it’s also right in the middle of the town centre, so perfect base to explore the area and also for continuing on to lands end! lots of fish/chips around the area which are open to late, which is handy. the breakfast was absolutely perfect! lovely little room and you have a menu so you can pick what you would like to each- I have the breakfast and my niece had some chocolate spread on toast. plenty of orange and apple juice also.

We stayed with hosts Rob and Belinda upon arrival we were met by Rob he gave us local information for places to eat and drink. We had 4 rooms all rooms were clean and tidy with en-suite. We all had a hearty breakfast and a good chat to the hosts before leaving we could have easily stayed longer. Great stay and would definitely return again and would certainly recommend this BnB to anyone wishing to visit Penzance or St Just or Lands End or Pendeen. Great views of the sea including at michaels mount and literally across the road for main line railway and. Bus station. Perfect location

I stayed at the Carson House Penzance for a one night stop over My stay was very comfortable and it is very handy for the train and bus station which are just round the corner a 2 minute walk. Staff very pleasant and the breakfast is very nice with a selection on offer I opted for the traditional breakfast which was very nicely served with a smile. If you want a pleasent stay you could do a lot worse than the Carson House for the money.

We booked for a family and have been impressed we have been given a very comfortable and spacious room with a double bed and a single bed to accommodate us couple and my 2yr old child. We were well provided in such way but it did not stop there. The service and included breakfast was very impressive. Rob and Belinda were very approachable and superb. They made the whole time we were there very homely. Would definitely consider staying again with them.

Carnson House is ideally located within walking distance to the train station and restaurants. Our room was nice and bright, with a TV and free wifi. Toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities were provided. We had a nice cooked breakfast in the morning. We greatly appreciated Rob and Belinda allowing us to leave our cases downstairs, as we had everything we needed in our carry on bags for our overnight stay. Lovely hosts.

The hosts were very nice and very accommodating. The place was near the train and bus station which was very convenient and just at the very end of high street which was nice. They provided toiletries and coffee/tea making facility. The room had tv and wifi was accessible. Although the bed was a bit hard for me so I've put a duvet over the sheet, but nothing bad, I just can't lie on firm beds. Breakfast is lovely and freshly cooked. They have other continental choices as well. All in all, it was a nice lovely stay.

The early checkin, the size and facility of rooms, breakfast was delicious, the owner of the BnB was fantastic. I defenitely recommend staying here when you are in Penzance, The building looks old from the outside, but it was a surely comfortable stay.

I stayed for 2 nights, but my wet towels did not get changed, and the towels were old so it got a bit smelly after being left wet for 1 night. (I did hang them on the central heating ) Other than that, I have no complaints at all

The hosts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast was catered to everybody’s taste and well presented. It was also no trouble to provide an earlier breakfast as my son was participating in a race. The only issue was the bar situated adjacent to the property which happened to be well frequented that particular night and was very noisy for us as our room was in the front of the building.

The television was a little small which wouldn’t normally be an issue but I am a serious tennis fan and Wimbledon was on.

Great location, being very close to train and coach station. 10 minute walk to ferry for Scilly Isles. Excellent Cornish breakfast. The proprietors went out of their way to help us.

Nothing to dislike about the place. Other reviews have mentioned noise, you cant be in a convenient location in the centre of town without a bit of noise. Next time we are in Penzance will head straight for Carnson House

Carnson House is ideally located being across the road from the railway station and a block from the bus station. The shopping center is a short walk up the hill. My room was comfortable. The big plus is hosts Rob and Belinda who were so welcoming and helpful - it was like staying with family. Breakfast was excellent, with several choices - thanks Rob!
