I have literally fallen in love with this hotel. The decor is so beautiful and the staff are amazing and the food, out of this world. On arrival we were made to feel so welcome and my dog even recieved a welcome gift that haf been left on the bed for her. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the personal touches in the room where certainly not wasted on us, we appreciated each and every one. The bathroom had the most beautiful roll top bath and heated flooring and the toilertries where lovely, there where even towelling robes left out for us There is a lovely guest kitchen where you can help yourself to continental breakfast. Its complete with everyrhing you could need includong ice machine, washer, dishwasher etc I have stayed in many hotels worldwide and this is most definitely now one of my favourites.

Hard to find a dislike. A recommendation would be something to carry your breakfast from the kitchen to the room.

The breakfast selection was really good. It was decent grub too! The added touch of the doggy sausage was most welcome! The room itself was very comfy, although a fan wouldn't have gone amiss as it was a warm night even with the windows open. Also, a shower where I'm not having to crouch to fit under was just the tops! Very happy with that! The room we had came complete with access to the roof terrace, felt right posh having brekkie out there!! We look forward to paying it the Lawrence another visit!

Great boutique hotel in the middle of town.fabulous staff,Marnie In particular,but not taking anything away from Michael,Alison,and Donna.Room was quiet,cozy and spacious.A small safe for valuables would have made it perfect.Would definately stay again.

Limited hotel parking,BUT,plenty of off street,with a small car park across the street.

Location close to the Main Street of Padiham so easy to walk around. But still a quiet location apart from being close to laundry room. Pleased to be offered a downstairs room, else most rooms upstairs. A small selection of grab and go breakfast items available. An excellent base for exploring surrounding north Lancashire villages and the old textile industry museums of the surrounding area.

We had a fantastic night at The Laurence hotel - really exceeded our expectations. We booked it spontaneously after needing to come up to Burnley for a night. We had a late check-in and was greeted by the receptionist who was very helpful and also upgraded us to the superior room! The room itself was lovely, very clean and the stand along bath made it feel very special as did the temple spa products and robes! Felt like a little spa break :) The grab and go breakfast which is included in the room price was also really handy for a quick breakfast and had lots of facilities even for vegans.

The Lawrence is a cosy little hotel that has been given a lovely makeover in recent years. My room was superb ~ super comfy bed, and a fantastic bathroom. All fittings, furniture, bed linen etc were of top quality. It's located right in the heart of Padiham and there are a couple of cracking traditional pubs nearby, plus an excellent Italian restaurant (forgotten the name but outstanding) about 5 minutes walk away. No breakfast but staff left out pastries, fruit, energy bars etc for you to help yourself. Overall, I had a great stay and can highly recommend this hotel.

Pleasant welcome and comfortable room. The quality of the breakfast was excellent.

The waitress on the Sunday morning was cleaning the toilet and came straight out to clear tables without washing her hands. The need to book breakfast each single day is unnecessary and we weren't told about that when checking in.

Nice layout, friendly staff, very clean room. Location. The brownie bites on arrival. Lovely little hotel/posh B&B. Water in the room.

The guest form you have to fill out, I think as I booked through booking.com, that’s proof enough to know I haven’t stolen a bank card to pay for the room . I just think it’s a bit overboard , I was sent the form 5 times in total. The room was lovely, although the bed was very low to the ground. My partner and I rolled together on it. Room 14. Booking the breakfast online was annoying too, although I made a mistake clicking gf toast, I didn’t get exactly what I’d ordered. No tinned tomatoes. £13 per breakfast seemed a little steep, for what we got.

The room I was in was finished to an exceptional standard. Staff were delightfully helpful and friendly . Restaurant on Monday to Wednesday has a limited menu in the evenings , but the food on those nights was delicious non the less and there is also a well stocked bar .

I’d be being extremely picky to find fault, it’s a delightful small private hotel. I’ve rebooked already for another upcoming business trip.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, well presented with the great addition of sweets !!! The breakfast was fantastic, well presented , really tasted and the berry smoothie was lovely. i would stay again and recommend
