Great location. Rooms are located in an annex (six rooms in total). Assume all are the same and have king size bed upstairs. Downstairs has a settee and TV along with kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Very handy. I liked the location away from the pub. Good quality food - I can recommend the Pendle Pie!

The accommodation had an air of tiredness and could do with a refresh. Nothing particularly wrong; it was perfectly functional and had everything I needed, but the furnishings and facilities are all rather dated.

We’ve just come home from our lovely stay in Pendle. We booked the hotel through Booking.com because it was a good deal, just thought it was for a basic hotel room in a pub but we were so pleasantly surprised. We showed up and were checked in by one of the many lovely staff members at the pub and were taken to one of the little annex apartments around the back of the pub - amazing! Our dog is quite anxious so this was perfect for her as it meant she didn’t have to walk through the pub when going in and out. It also had a private parking space. The annex was beautiful. Really clean and didn’t smell considering it’s dog friendly (I’ve been in many dog friendly hotels where they stink!). A lovely amount of space, loved the bedroom up the stairs - the view of the little garden out the back and the sheep were lovely. Food was able to be ordered from the bar and brought to our rooms. The food was lush, especially the gammon. Staff couldn’t be anymore friendly. The area itself is lovely and peaceful. The only downfall was the fire alarm going off a couple of times on our last morning but this was quickly sorted by the staff on site. Already booked to go again next year and we can’t wait!

I have stayed many times over the last few years. I like the area, the staff are amazing and my doggie is welcomed.. it's a stunning location with plenty of good walks and easy access to other areas of Lancashire. Nice to have a little chalet to make home from home for a few days. The chalet facilities are simple but comfortable though a bit of TLC wouldn't go amiss. The beds are very comfortable with fresh crisp linens and wonderful towels. Parking is free and plentiful and the pub food is restaurant standard.

I was in number 6 it's the nearest to the staff entrance/kitchen. Grocery deliveries at 4.50am are not conducive to good sleep. Tiny things could improve the facilities like bleaching the grout in the bathroom to get it properly clean and the same for the non slip bath mat. Also there wasn't a single glass but on asking the staff soon provided it. These are very minor issues and did nothing to detract from a great stay or prevent me booking again already..

Perfect location, nice, helpful staff ten out of ten there!, Big comfortable beds, beautiful setting. The pub does nice food, a good menu, and is very charming. I will definitely be coming back and recommend the place.

I am being picky here, but the fridge wasn't that clean, who ever was in there before us had spilt something on the glass shelve and it was still there, a couple of dirty marks on the outside of the fridge too. Mold on the shower grout, quite a bit, nothing some bleach and a good scrub won't get off, cracked tile in the shower, panel under the shower was half off ( room 6) the front door handle was lose (room 10), again little jobs that would just that a couple of minutes to put right. But it hasn't put me off the place, I'd happily stay there again.

Welcoming and friendly, great food (Pendle Pie) great beer (Thwaites IPA) not so much a room as my own apartment, fabulous location, amazing view of the low cloud and mist, and some awesome dogs in the bar. A bar which allows dogs in is never bad. I wish I had a dog

Nothing.

Nice to just sit on the sofa and relax in your own space at the end of the day. Reserved parking outside each chalet was appreciated as it looked as though parking could get difficult if the pub got busy. Evening meal in pub was good. Wifi in both the pub and chalet was excellent.

Three out of the four lounge area lights weren’t working, neither was one of the bedside lights - though this was possibly because we had the bed split into two twins. Only one dining chair even though chalet is designed for two people, plus no forks or spoons in the drawer, only knives and dessert spoons! There’s no mobile signal. TV had to be watched through Sky box and was black and white. You need to pre-think any provisions you might need as nearest shop is in Fence, two villages away. Pub kindly let us have a glass of milk.

Great to have self catering - and at a reasonable price in such beautiful surroundings. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Having visited several times it's nice to be remembered 😊. Bed is very comfortable and the accommodation very clean.

The sofa - extremely uncomfortable. Appreciate it doubles as a spare bed but it's so uncomfortable I found myself having to go upstairs to watch things on my laptop rather than relaxing in the lounge area downstairs.

We arrived and the Pendle Inn was in full bloom outside, looked beautiful. Swift check in and we did eat in their restaurant and everything was delicious and well presented. Accommodation was nice with very comfortable beds, you don't hear a sound at night just the trees ...so peaceful. All the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly, what a lovely 4 days. Thank you all xx

Leaving :o( and getting back to reality.

Great location, lovely staff, pub food was delicious, amenities were good. Comfy bed. Love that the dogs were welcome ☺️

Just needs a little TLC on things like blown light bulbs and possibly a new sofa since ours felt like the bottom had given. Honestly nothing major, this place is ideal to stay in. Very cozy and a great base to go adventuring from
