Antique Terrace Cave Suites

The location is great, in the center of Göreme, from there you can easily reach the Open air museum and different restaurants/bars. The hotel is entirely built in caves so the atmosphere is pretty magical! The breakfast was wonderful and the view from the terrace as well.

We didn't really appreciate the fact that the owner asked us to pay by cash in euro, withouht informing us in advance (i have always paid by card). We had to withdraw money at a random atm (definitely not an advantage for us as foreigner!)

Very good location. You do not need to climb much, but you have beautiful upper view. Breakfast very tasty. Does not start at 8.00, but later. Probably waiting for the baloon riders. Just for you to know. Really nice hotel.

Unfortunately at the reception there was a young boy that had no experience at all in tourism.He was definitely a junior. So it was quite complicated to get another blanket. Also a lot of discussions until he understood that it was cold in the room. The second night he gave us, finally, an electric heater. It was OK. The third night, after the junior was gone, we discovered that the room could be heated. Properly. So we did not need the electric heater anymorer. So, with other words, if you get the junior at the desk, it might get annoying. If not, everything is OK.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Antique Terrace Cave Hotel during my visit to Goreme, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the unique charm and character of this historic cave hotel. The location of the hotel is superb, nestled in the heart of Goreme with breathtaking views of the surrounding fairy chimneys and rock formations. The terrace offers a perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise or sunset, providing a picturesque backdrop for relaxation. The rooms themselves are cozy and beautifully decorated, each carved into the rock with careful attention to detail. Despite the traditional cave setting, the rooms are equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The unique architecture adds to the overall ambiance, transporting guests to another time while still providing all the comforts of home.

Atmosphere of the caved room and the hotel. Location in a walking distance to the Goereme centre. Fantastic view from a breakfast room. Our room included shower and additionally a big bath with jacuzzi. Personnel very helpful and nice. They may assist you in organising trips and transpiortation. I recommend staying in this hotel at least for 3 nights to explore the region. The reccommended option of sightseeing is to take a Green Route by Travel Agency (first day) and to rent a car for travelling along the Red Route (second day). The Open Air Museum is also in a trekking distance.

The only negative note refers to the town. In early December some inhabitants lit fire (pieces of wood) in the evenings (probably due to low temperature) which caused huge smoke. However for us the temperature was perfect. People with lungs disorders should be careful. Some houses were also heated by wood burning. I think the problem is decreased in warmer months.

It is an amazing authentic place, great way to experience location. Being literally in a cave is unusual experience, room is enormous, though tad cold for our comfort. Furniture choice and arrangement could be better. Bathroom is huge, but not well lit. first night my girlfriend asked me to remain by her side cause it was just a little bit ominous :) But second and third night we got used to it.

very slow wi-fi. it was a challenge to find/book our next hotel and flight. had to sit right next to the router and even that didnt help much. just prepare to it to basically not load.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed with the overall quality. Cleanliness: The hotel was exceptionally clean, and housekeeping did a fantastic job maintaining the rooms and common areas. Room Space: The room was spacious and well-designed, providing ample space for relaxation and work if needed.. Roof Top: The rooftop was a highlight, offering stunning views of the city and balloons and a great place to unwind in the evening. Customer Service: The staff provided exceptional customer service throughout my stay. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. Location: The hotel's location was ideal, centrally located with easy access to the city's attractions and transportation. Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast spread was not only delicious but also had a variety of options to cater to different tastes. Overall, my experience at this hotel was outstanding. I highly recommend it for its cleanliness, room space, facilities, rooftop, customer service, convenient location, amazing staff, and delicious breakfast. It truly made my trip memorable.

One drawback I noticed during my stay was that if you have an early checkout, such as 6am or 7am, the hotel doesn't provide breakfast. It would be more convenient if they offered a packed breakfast for guests leaving early, as it would make the stay even better for those with early departures.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite and the reception was always manned when we walked past. It was really easy to book tours and transfers through the hotel and they were very responsive even before we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of space. Housekeeping visited our room every day with fresh towels, bottled water, coffee, tea etc. The location was great, just a few minutes’ walk from the main part of town and didn’t need to walk up any big hills! Breakfast was also delicious with lots of variety. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful hotel tucked in the heart of Goreme. 1 min walk away from shops. Beautiful and spacious rooms. Stunning views all around from outside room, and from rooftop.

Had to abandon trip early as weather messed with our balloon tour so we took an early morning flight back to IST. Appreciated the hotel manager taking it upon himself to take us back to airport at the early hour. Although we felt a little gouged with the double price he charged for each passenger in ONE van, but we were desperate and had no choice to pay the fare. All in all a good few hours at the cave.

We were blown away with our stay at Antique Terrace Cave Suites. The hosts were exceptionally gracious. Our room appeared larger than the one we booked online - they may have upgraded us just because they had the space and saw we were three people. We were surprised when we were offered help to carry our (heavy) bags upstairs to our rooms - and were again assisted upon departure. When a light bulb burned out they did not hesitate to get it replaced for us. The value was great and waking up in the morning to hot air balloons just outside your window was a unique experience. Most rooms offer a view and if your room does not, you can enjoy a wonderful view from the top floor. We were even offered a map, places to see, and were able to book a tour at the front desk. Walking distance to everything and parking on site were wonderful additions.

Good location. There is free parking. Good breakfasts. Great view of the terrace. Excellent staff always ready to help. Clean rooms and hotel grounds. There is beautiful decor everywhere. I lived here 6 nights with my husband. We liked everything. The room is fully consistent with the photos and description on the site. The price is excellent quality! Convenient location. Easy to drive into the car. There is free parking. The staff is always ready to help you. Good breakfasts. There is always fresh fruits and vegetables. Tea, coffee, juice, water. The room also has cups and a kettle. Tea, coffee, sugar is replenished when cleaning the room. The room is often cleaned. The terrace here is just gorgeous. It is used as a photo zone every morning. A very beautiful tray with fruits and other things is served on the table. This is the place where you want to return again. Photos from the terrace are the best of the best! The balloons fly right over your head. So close that you can offer a cup of coffee to the people flying in the balloon. I'm serious. Was here for the first time. Chose this hotel based on reviews and price. I also recommend you to stay here.
