My husband and me came for a weekend trip. We visited Fribourg and the wonderful surroundings like "greyerz". We came by car and had free parkings from the hotel which was great. We knew we booked a self-check-in hotel so we made sure to check the instructions we got by email beforehand and experienced a super easy check in. There are two tablets to check in and you can program a keycard for each person. If you need help or tips there is no physical reception but a "cloud reception" which could be reached by chat 24/7 which at first felt weird but actually turned out to be really great as not only they were fast and helpful but we could hit them up anytime and anywhere even when we were not in the hotel. The hotel itself was great for a few days. It is an old typical 80s building but it is well maintained. The hotel itself is some kind of fresh pop-up concept where they tried to bring back the charm of the 80s by actually bringing back the interior of the time. there is 80s music in the lobby and elevator :-D. The rooms are more than basic actually but rather "outdated" in the style which for us was no problem as we looked for a practical hotel and not a boutique hotel. In a practical way there was more than expected. Free coffee, water, a super comfortable bed and a nice shower all super clean. There were towels, rituals shampoo, hair dryer etc. all there. A partner bakery of the hotel is 50m up the road and offered various breakfasts at a reduced price. overall great value for money, clean experience and practical.

I was in Fribourg for a weekend. The hotel was perfect for our needs, central, comfortable and also cool! The price-performance ratio is absolutely right and the self-check-in (which I did for the first time) worked perfectly. Definitely a recommendation!

Checking in via a automatic system wasn't to easy and it wasn't just me. Others failed completely . Not even a phone number to reach support. The system gives wrong information so it could be improved
