Elite Hotel Marina Tower

The location of this hotel is amazing, with just a short ferry across to the main part of Stockholm and various attractions like the ABBA Museum and the VASA Museum. The room had a good selection of mini bar and snacks and tea making facilities, and this was topped up each day and rooms cleaned to a great standard. The staff were great :)

Room - Hairdryer cuts out lots, so took a long time to dry hair (take your own hairdryer!), only one very small window in the room so not much natural light. The beds were not 100% comfortable but still much needed after a long day walking around the city. Would have liked some English tea in the room selection - but soon got some from the breakfast buffet to have in the room. Was very disappointed that the gym and pool etc were an extra cost, as we had paid extra for this hotel in contrast to others to be able to have a gym and swim. Would have been good if these extra costs were highlighted on booking.

Parking was not included. 250kr per day extra. Pool and sauna $70 extra per person. don't advertise amenities if they are not included. Felt duped!

In general an amazing 4 stars ⭐️ Hotel: great and friendly front desk team. incredible breakfast buffet - I‘m focused on healthy food and was so happy of all the protein products -, great connection in front of the hotel to the ferries!!!

Not acceptable for an 4 stars hotel: extra charge for SPA and Gym. This never happens before for us, we traveled a lot around the world and this should be included as normal service without any additional costs. I‘m okay for get charged for special massages or other services, but not for pure entry :-(. So we did not use it, as it also was to expensive

The hotel was great and staff were always courteous and willing to help. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is in a quieter area which was great for dining in the resturant and getting some rest. The hotel breakfast is very good, but is slightly overcrowded. The water ferry/taxi stop is conveniently right in front of the hotel for getting you to the city center.

Parking is almost always full in the garage and you may have to wait for a spot to open. It is roughly $28USD for overnight parking. There is not many dining options within walking distance.

When you arrive you already see the beauty of the builing. The room was good, staff is friendly. The choice at the breakfast is extensive. We ate one evening in the hotel restaurant and were satisfied with the quality of the food. The hotel is at a perfect location to visit downtown Stockholm: Just take a ferry to Gamla Stan or Djurgarden. You'll be there within 15 minutes and you had a very nice boat trip.

There are only two floors in the parking lot reserved for the cars of the guests. When we arrived there was only one spot left. I don't know where you are allowed to park your car when there are no parking spaces left.

Very good located, near to city center and attractions (boat stop in front of the hotel), good breakfast, nice staff, the room was ready before the official check-in time and it was no problem to change the room as it had 2 separate beds instead of the double bed we were expecting.

At breakfast there is only filter coffee available (which was very good but from a 4 star hotel I would expect at least the possibility to have cappuchino/cafe latte etc for breakfast too) At our first night there was a big party in the hotel (which would have been no problem) but the party music was playing until 2-3 a.m and the bass was loud enough to wake me up although we had closed the windows (usually I would expect that there is some kind of rule that at least after midnight it has to be quiet since there were other guests also staying at the hotel, especially if I pay for 4 stars) - the following nights however, it was very quiet so maybe we had just bad luck.

Dear Travellers, bear in mind that the hotel has no own pool. It provides an entrance to the Spa (paid separately). If you travel with kids the only time allowed to swim is from 9-10 a.m. We had to change our schedule and swim in the morning ;) Nevertheless the stay was very good. Special thanks to the reception ladies and men, they helped and explained a lot. Breakfast was really tasty and had lots of varieties for all guests. the rooms are spacious enough to relax. You can take a ferry-bus to the museum island that stops right in front of the hotel (SL app helps to travel in the city) and next stop is city centre. It was very handy, cause there is a huge construction works close to the centre of Stockholm that causes traffic jams. With the ferry you avoid it travelling from one side of the river to another.

Please, mark the time schedule for the swimming pool for kids or restriction policy in the main hotel info. Thank you.

Just amazing, Lovely room with gorgeous reception, splendid breakfast and bar, Restaurant is just lovely if you like fine-dining. Staff were super helpful and there is a plus of 24hr desk. We got the deluxe twin room which was so comfortable, spacious and spotless (highly recommend that room). The gym is better than most commercial gyms however it is paid. The location is perfect as there is a boat right in front of the hotel which brings you to the the main attractions in Stockholm and the next stop brings you to the city centre. The best stay I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend for anyone to come here even for a city break. Good value for money as of the time of writing the review also.

I like everything about this hotel but the hours for kids at the pool. The hotel has everything you may need, couldn’t be better located, rooms are very convenient, and its wonderful breakfasts fulfill expectations of the most demanding guests. Stuff is nice and helpful. Strongly recommend!!! I return here not for the first time and will do in future occasions when in Stockholm. The only aspect that could be better is time available for children at the spa zone. 9-10 is definitely too short, would suggest and be grateful if changed to 9-11. Such would be just perfect!

When I did the check in it seems the staff was solving some sort of problem and the attention was a bit on and off from them. I did not like that at all. I absolutely do not mind to wait (as long as it is needed) but this context switching from the staff felt a bit unprofessional. I would have preferred that they sorted out what they needed to fix and then attend me properly. I acknowledge tough that it was late (almost closing the check in window) and probably the staff was tired after a long day.
