Scandic Stortorget

The location of the hotel is perfect for a short Malmö visit as it is right in the hear of the city. The room was very nice and really roomy. The breakfast was great and we even could ask for an expresso (a good one) w/o extra cost.

The bed was too soft (someone might like it). The elevator wasn't working and not repaired and as far as I can see from previous comments this is something that happens often.

The location is perfect for exploring Malmö and being close to the train station. The breakfast was fantastic, we enjoyed the traditional Swedish aspects. Would definitely stay here again!

Its central location meant it could be a bit loud late at night or early morning, but that is to be expected given its proximity to the main squares. We knew the central location so this was not an issue at all.

Good central location. My room overlooked the square. Good selection, including hot food for breakfast. They also provided a morning after shot with your breakfast, should you need it.

Nearby a local nightclub is quite noisy and continues until the early hours of the morning. I am quite a heavy sleeper, so it didn't bother me but it could others.

The staff was super nice and helpful, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the location of the hotel was excellent. I also enjoyed the breakfast. It was tasty with lots of variety.

I didn't like I've had to book my breakfast.

Great location. Big very comfortable room. (Though some rooms are smaller and it can be very noisy outside - depends which room you’re in and which way it’s facing.)

Unfortunately the music in the club next door was very loud until 2:30am! It was not easy to sleep in our room at the front (with a nice view on the square...)

Central location, large sauna + gym & free bike rental. Breakfast was also great loads of choices and nice quality.

We could hear upstairs banging around all night but thats not a hotel problem. No control over in room heating.

The location is superb, located in a very attractive part of Malmö, next til Lilla Torget. And also within easy walking distance from the railway station: Malmö Central. And the breakfast was very good. Truly excellent, actually.

Room was a bit smallish, and lacked a proper chair for comfortable sitting. But you get what you pay for, and I had booked that kind of a room.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and location. Special mention to Robert the night porter for his excellent hospitality.

Breakfast only ran until 9am, it would be great if it could run till 10am.
