Breakfast was awesome. So many varieties. Simply superb.

One problem faced was - they didn't accept payment in cash. I had to face lots of trouble to organise SEK currency in India so that I can pay in cash at the hotel. It was mentioned in booking.com confirmation that so much SEK has to be paid at the property. It wasn't mentioned that cash won't be accepted and all payments have to be made through Credit Card. I think it's important that this information is clearly mentioned in booking confirmation which would save lots of inconvenience of customer.

-The breakfast was amazing! They have so many options. Do yourself a favor and try their meatballs! -The location was perfect. It is close to the main attractions and station since it is in the center of the city. -Staff was very friendly.

The room was way smaller than what we saw in the pictures. For this time of the year, it was very very hot in there and we had to sleep with the windows open and they don’t even open half way. It took us by surprise how strict they were about the check out time, but I guess that’s how it is.

Breakfast was awesome. Over weekend, there was a line for coffee which was a little annoying and can simply be fixed by adding more coffee machines. The location is the best. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and do their best to make you feel like being at home.

The room is okay. I was expecting a small mini-fridge like you see in most hotels in the U.S. But there was none and it was a little annoying to go down to the lobby to get ice couple times a day to keep your food/beverages cold.

The room is very nice and spacious and the breakfast room is HUGE and offers an incredible assortiment of food for breakfast. Big windows looking over Gustav Adolfs Torg and the seating is very pleasant. The staff in the reception is very kind and helpful.

I arrived at 9.15 a.m. and asked for a coffee, the girl in reception sent me to the coffe maker that was non free. I was very disappointed as in other hotels when you arrive early you can have breakfast for free (Best Western Hotel Royal, Radisson Park Inn, First Hotel Jörgen Kock) or they have a table where you can find coffee/tea, biscuits and fruit (ProfilHotel Garden). And here I just asked for a coffee and it wasn't even offered.

Hotel is nice, breakfast is good. The rooms were cold and chilly. When hotel is crowded better to use the stairs and elevators take forever. The hotel is very nice and centrally located and perfect for visiting Malmo. They just need NEW reception staff and everything should be OK.

Reception and key handling and check-in and check-out was a DISASTER. Never Scanic again just because of this lady at reception. She was horrible, we're there one night for New Years and she makes my best friends wait 2 hours in the lobby for room.

Fantastic feast of a breakfast, and very helpful and nice staff!

Might just be because I’m foreign so these things could be common knowledge, but it wasn’t very intuitive figuring out the elevators and lights in the room. I saw a few others awkwardly trying to figure it out—so maybe just tip off the guests when you give them the key that they need it to work everything. But I did figure it out and then all was well!

A very good hotel (my first time here) with extremely valuable personel in the Reception. All extremely nice, kind and helpful!! Quiete room even on the mean street. Big room with comfy beds. Big bathroom. Big breakfast room (rooms) with a huge varity of chooses. The breakfast is dislocated in two different parts of the huge breakfast room. You are in the heart of Malmö, two steps away from Gustav Adolfs Torg (with many busses) and Gå gatan with all the shops. ca 1 km by foot to the Central Station

Fantastic selection of food at breakfast. Everything I could wish for. Comfortable bed. Central location. near to shops.

Room was very hot and had to keep window open most of the time. Heating didn't seem to be on. Surprised no kettle to make tea as most hotels these days. Lady in reception was good enough to give me a spare kettle! No safe.

The hotel is located in the pedestrian zone of the city center and is very well connected by public transport to other parts of the town. The main bus/train station is only 5 min on foot and he airport coach stops at Studentgatan, which is just round the corner. The staff is very polite and helpful and the selection for breakfast is amazing! Looking forward to staying here again :)

The pillows were not particularly comfortable (still, the mattress was super comfortable) and the shower was either too hot or too cold, it took a bit of tweaking to find a sweet spot.

The hotel was conveniently located, it was clean and the staff was very helpful. The heating was turned off in the hotel and apparently, this is something normal for Sweden. We requested a solution as our room felt a bit cold and the reception provided us with an individual heater. Breakfast was ok and even if they served the same food every day there was enough variation.

The bed in our room did not feel stable enough and was having this weird side to side movement
