BG Caballero

I booked the hotel as my second stay in Mallorca this year. I was very pleasantly surprised. The room on the 6th floor was with a view of the pool and the sea, cleaned every day. The room is smaller, but it is sufficient for a vacation. The bathroom was excellent. The hotel staff was very pleasant (from the lady at the reception during check-in, to the restaurant staff, maids and others). The food (breakfast and dinner) was varied, tasty, in reasonable quantities. I would say excellent! I will definitely return to this hotel.

Everyhting was very nice

I asked on reception to call me a taxi to the airport. Hotel is 5 minutes from airport and i paid 20€. So better if you ask at the hotel first, how much does it cost. Because i dont think the price was fair.

rooms were ready reasonably early on arrival, we were given complimentary coffee and pastries on the pool terrace and our luggage stored. Very pleased with both rooms, great bathroom and spacious room Complimentary water provided daily and chocolates, drinks reasonably priced at bar Good location, tried snacks at pool very nice

View from rooms, balcony furniture uncomfortable. Paid for evening meal one night, almost cold and meat not edible Was not given change by waitress in bar one evening despite repeatedly asking, should have told manager.

Good location, good value for money, the food is verru good

Hotel was immaculately clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner selections were extensive. Location was perfect for us.

Facilities for small children could have been better.

Room was big and clean, had all sorts of drinks and tea available to you. Bathroom was clean and had all sorts of toiletary that you may need even a spare toothbrush :) as well as a bathrobs. Balkony had a nice view at the sea side and swiming pools. Room was cleaned every day and the sweets left for us on our beds. Food at the breakfast and dinner was tasty- lot's to choose from. There was plent of fruits and cakes and deserts to chose from as well. One night we had a chocolate fontaine and all sorts of goodies that would go with it. Swimming pool area was lovely with a waiter assisting you. Very helpful staff at the reception, we were able to leave our bags in starage untill late due to our flight beeing in the evening and still continue to use the pool facility.

There was no water at the dinner, you have to buy a drink each evening even though you have hotel bottled water in your room. The beds were way too soft for us ( or that many times used) you litteraly fall in the hole while you sleeping. And the water in the pool was way too cold to use the pool facility in a September break.

Amazing breakfast, modern rooms and peaceful, stunning pool area. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel smelt really nice! Thoughtful touches like water bottles / snacks in room and luggage room with showers. Location is great for the beach and easy bus ride into town (no. 25).

Unfortunately our room was not as clean as would be expected. The bathroom, the fridge and the wall trim areas of the room needed a deep clean. The floor was not cleaned properly when we arrived. The bathroom is in need of an extractor fan or some kind of ventilation.

The staff at reception were very accommodating and helpful The pancakes and chocolate sauce are amazing 😋

Breakfast- you had to queue for a hot drink which was not drinkable when you got it. They ran out of cutlery

The room (one of the new ones) was very inviting as it was bright, newly renovated and elegantly designed. This also applies to the rest of the hotel. The breakfast exceeded my expectations with a broad selection of food so that every need should be satisfied. Also the quality of the food was fine.

The only disadvantage of this place is that it is located about a 15-20-minute walk away from the main events at Playa de Palma. The beach, however, is just 300 m away.

Central location, great buffet for breakfast and dinner incl show cooking (positive surprise at this price level), staff consistently excellent. Overall we were pleased with value for money and also stayed at another BG hotel in the north but Caballero was far better. We have a couple of improvement points but nonetheless overall opinion is very positive

Rooms need an overhaul and are poorly sound insulated I would expect at least still water to be served during dinner and tea selection was very basic/low end at breakfast. Sadly no direct connection from indoor pool to outside and sauna was not working half the time. Pool was fine during March but I can imagine it must be too small if many guests make use of it during summer. 2 elevators are sadly not enough for the size of the hotel. I would expect billiard / pool table to be free in a hotel of this category
