Porcel Navas

The personnel at the hotel were FANTASTIC. They really made our stay enjoyable. Juan, Laios and Toni did an outstanding job, as well as all the other employees. They are the “face” of the hotel/company, actually we could day that they are the face of Granada. The location of the hotel is EXCELLENT, since is very close to Alhambra, Cathedral, Royal Chapel, Albaizin and Sacromonte, and many places to eat. The room is comfortable and very clean. This is not a 5 star hotel but the personnel will let you feel that you are in one. If you spend 6-7 hours in the hotel, to sleep 5-6 and shower plus breakfast in 1-2… the room is more than enough. We travelled with two big baggage with cloth for 10 days, and we accomodate everything.

Probably the scramble eggs more well done and the “tortilla española” could be warmer. The hotel provided a Good variety of jam, cheese, bread, cereal and good Orange juice and coffee. The breakfast room always clean.

The Porcel Navas is very central-right in the middle of the main shopping area of Granada and a short walk or bus ride from the Alhambra. My room was perfect for a sole traveller-en suite bath/shower room, a quiet place to unwind and satellite TV to watch if I wanted to. It was quiet, even though it was close to lots of bars and restaurants. The staff were great-the reception team sorted out my Alhambra ticket for me and didn't mind my paying for the stay in instalments; the lady in charge of breakfast was friendly and welcoming.

The room was a bit cramped-there wasn't much space either side of the bed.

Location was perfect! The main sites were walkable from the hotel. And for anything further you just walk 5 minutes to the nearest bus stop. The staff was very friendly and approachable. Breakfast was good. There was a moderate selection of different breads, pastries, meats, cheeses and eggs. When you step out of the hotel you enter a street full of many restaurants, which were always quite busy. Our room was on the street side, but we didn't have any problems regarding noise. The beds were comfy and the shower had good water pressure. Overall the room was quite clean. There was lots of closet space and the room had a mini fridge. Extra pillows and blankets were also available.

One day we found a cockroach in our room. That was a not so fun surprise. Luckily it was a one time thing.

I stayed at the hotel with my wife. My second room in this hotel. This time, my daughter settled in the student residence she came to for erasmus. The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is right in the heart of Granada. The staff, one male and one female, working alternately at the reception, is friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a central location, but there is no noise at night, you can sleep comfortably. The breakfast is sufficient, good quality and nice. Room cleanliness is perfect. The beds are comfortable. Towels and toiletries are complete. Internet and TV work fine. The air conditioning system was working properly and we were not cold like in the previous room.

There were no bath slippers (baño zapatillas)

Excellent location. Short walking distances to everywhere. Bus stop for bus C32 to Alhambra relatively near to the hotel. Friendly staff. Gave us good advice on what to see, where to go and the most important bus connections. Breakfast. Fairly basic but everything that one expects is there. Parking. Is nearby, just 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

The room felt a bit mismatched. We were put into a 4 bed room. There was only one chair to sit in, just one suitcase stand and a small wardrobe.

I stayed at the hotel with my wife and daughter for 3 people. The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is right in the heart of Granada. There is no central system, the room is heated by air conditioning, but the room was not warm enough. When I reported the situation, the problem was systemic and another warmer room was suggested for my continued stay and the problem was solved (New room was warming up).

This hotel is ideally located to see the best of lovely Granada. It's in a pedestrian side lane just off the main thoroughfare, right in the heart of the city. The lane is lined with restaurants, serving great food, and it's known as Tapas Alley. Delicious free tapas with every drink. All the main sights in the city itself are within easy walking distance as is the minibus service to the Alahambra/ room spacious and comfortable, I went with one of my daughters and it was a generous space with twin beds and a large bathroom. Spotlessly clean and great breakfasts. really good value, lovely friendly staff

The location is very good ! To shopping area and city sightingseeing places are within 10 minutes walk. Right outside the hotel main entrance is tapas bars and restaurant street. Worry about noise outside get to the room ? Do not worry. . , Hotel windows are doubled layers insulation design. Quiet as usual hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. And the bathroom is spotlessly clean. The staff are very pro, friendly and helpful. U could always see front desk manager Teresa helping guests to navigate around with the city map. Good buffet breakfast at 7 € is really must try !

location was great for visiting the historic sites. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were great, especially Laisos, what a professional.

Being on the busy street was very noisy untill the early hours of the morning…could not leave windows open because of noise so room was very hot at night and the cold air conditioning was not working. manager said to just leave windows open so very little sleep over the 4 nights unfortunately . Turn on the cold air conditioning for the comfort of guests

The Porcel Navas was a lovely hotel right in the busy street of Calle Navas with plenty of bars and restaurants. Our room faced this street but was quiet due to double glazed French doors. The Cathedral was very near, also with loads of bars and restaurants in the area, as well as shopping. A bus to The Alhambra was a few minutes walk and very inexpensive. The staff were lovely-- friendly and helpful. Porcel Navas was an absolute delight.
