Gorgeous accommodation in old town. Walking distance to all restaurants, beach and sights. Helpful staff and great breakfast

Unfortunately l had an accident at the hotel and walked into the bathroom glass door and broke my nose. I just noticed that other reviews had mentioned the dangerous situation and nothing was done about it. I wish they had put the stickers in the door. They paid for my hospital bill but it’s an unfortunate accident that could have been avoided

good selection at breakfast, very quiet comfortable room with all necessary facilities. Excellent location, and wonderful friendly and accommodating staff, who were relaxed and smiling and couldn't have been more helpful to us in every way. Easy check in and out and incredibly peaceful in the room given the central location.

pretty expensive for a single room which was quite small. The shower door didn't quite shut, the main door didn't always lock on exit and there were a couple of signs of wear and tear. It isn't a massive complaint, simply some feedback that my expectations were higher given the price point. Given all that, I would readily stay again, if there were offers or discounts.

The hotel is situated in the ‘old town’ in a pedestrian only zone in close proximity to the harbour, shops, restaurants and car parking. Staff were friendly and courteous. The room was quiet and comfortable and the very effective sound proofing meant that our nights were peaceful despite being in a busy city centre. Our room was cleaned each day to an impeccable standard. There was a comprehensive breakfast. An enjoyable stay and highly recommended.

There was insufficient clothes storage in the room for two people. In addition the clothes hangers were located abnormally high up in the room and some guests may find them difficult to reach.

This is a lovely boutique type hotel right in the middle of the old town. Our room was large clean, large bed. However, we faced onto the main Pintxos street opposite the beautiful church which was very noisy at times. If you require a quieter room request one not on the main Street. However, We were there for 3 nights so did not request to be moved. This hotel is walking distance to everything you could wish to see in San Sebastián, centred right in the old town. General noise of a town hotel should be expected. Breakfast was good and varied with hot and cold options both buffet style and hot food served to your table. The attached restaurant was also very good. This hotel has no parking at all. The nearest car park is a good 10min walk with luggage from the hotel and in the heat was quite challenging. Parking was around 27 euros for 24 hours. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to be in the centre of the Old town with all its shops, pintxos and fabulous restaurants. It is also just round the corner from the beach.

Lack of parking. Our room was quite noisy at night.

Super beautiful location in the center of the city, view from the balcony is just amazing. Very friendly people on reception, always trying to help. Hotel is very modern and new. District is just wow!

Very uncomfortable wardrobe, I couldn’t manage to put my dresses there. I don’t know who was a designer to do it. If u are short like me, u will not put your clothes, as it’s too high and for long dresses no space. No sleepers, no hair condition, no robe. Very noisy doors, u hear every time when people open and close the door, be ready to hear the bell from the church in the morning. On breakfast no real cappuccino(, only coffe with milk. No vegetables and poor choice of fruits. I would like to have more healthy things.

The very accommodating staff, the historic and perfect location, the style of the rooms, the comfy bed and great shower, the breakfast, (amazing) the rooftop terrace, (beautiful views)the welcome glass of wine. . . the restaurant below. . . They truly get it right and I hope to stay here again. If you have a car, know this is a pedestrian area only so you have to find public parking in a lot and walk to the hotel. It’s so worth it but just a heads up!

I loved everything but if street noise is a big problem, could be an issue for some. interior rooms do not have the noise but lack the beautiful charm of facing the Santa Maria church. . . I stayed in both!

the location is second to none, being right in the centre of Parte Vieja and adjacent to the Santa Maria del Coro basilica. despite the noise emanating from the bars and restaurants outside (not to mention the ringing of the church bells) we found the room to be very quiet and peaceful. the room we had booked (double room with balcony) was very nice, with a super comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. the reception and breakfast staff were very pleasant and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them.

our room was not cleaned on one of the days but this was rectified immediately once reported to reception. also, although this is a minor thing, it should be noted that the safe deposit boxes in the rooms are not actually anchored to anything so, in theory, could just be picked up and carried away. the 24 hour reception mitigates most of the risk but I thought it worth mentioning in any case.

The location was fantastic. Breakfast was also first rate. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and a glass of wine on arrival after having walked from Hondarribia on the camino del Norte was very welcome.

There were a few things missing that I would have expected in a hotel of this quality, in particular bottled water and something in the minibar, more amenities in the bathroom (ie there wasnt any body wash or conditioner). The tv wasn’t set up to be watched from the bed or the seating area, but was off to the side, although it looked like from the electrics half way up the wall from the couch that it was meant to be mounted there.

The location was just perfect to visit San Sebastian! Despite being in the middle of the old city, the rooms were very soundproof. Beatiful top terrace and great breakfast (the small cheesecakes are to die for).

The room was very small and it was hard to move around with 2 luggages, also the rooms were a bit more worn out than what the pictures represent. Maybe not completely value for money.

Can't fault it - from the welcome drink, the friendly staff and their advice on where to go and what to eat, the delicious pintxos in the onsite bar (ox cheek and bread and butter pudding, just not at the same time), the room decor and basilica facade from our balcony, and easy access to loads of great pintxos bars - just what we were hoping for!!

Should have tried harder to find street parking, the closest underground car park was expensive
