Premium Porto Maia

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, not far from metro station, grocery shop, fast foods (walking distance). Big bedroom for 2 and big bathroom Comfortable bed. Fridge and air conditioning available and working well. The hotel even provide you a bottle of water in your room which was much appreciated with the heat.

Beds not ideal for 3 people if you are with teenage kids. Low soundproof, I could here the room beside me in the bathroom. Bathroom handle was dirty Long shower place but no curtain or glass door at the end so even with the best attempt, water gets out.

In my case the location was very good, and for eating it is 5min walk from main square in Maia with restaurants. Very conveniente is the parking lot outside. You can see it was a high quality hotel some years ago, and needs some upgrading, but for a 4 star hotel the price was very honest and great value.

Everything was good, nothing to complain about. If I have to leave a remark and say something, maybe to upgrade to new towels because they were a bit worn out and having a nice white/fluffy towel gives shower that nice luxury touch.

Close to restaurants, markets, and the airport.

The breakfast option is a little pricy. Also a few maintenance needs. Elevator down button cover missing and not operational on my floor, but I mitigated by pressing the up button to call the elevator. My room door didn’t close easily. As instructed by the cleaning person, I had to slam it pretty hard to get it to close.

The restaurant! The hotel itself is outdated and does not deserve 4 stars. Also the restaurant looks more like a school cantina. But the food! The food was superb! Being a large family we had several different dishes and deserts but everything tasted fantastic! And the food was very cheap as well. I recommend it to everybody!

The hotel is clean, nice, furniture and decoration is old and antique but everything works perfectly good, the staff is very friendly and breakfast is very good and offer many options

The room smelled like humidity, it was kind of warm outside and only the heater option was available in the room, so it wasn’t pleased to be there at the day time …

Staff helpful. Room confortable, good parking. Restaurant good for an hotel,of this type.

The second lift needs to be REPAIRED. Booking.com could include breakfast in the price, or at least the option. This would avoid confusion later. And surprise overriding, where the customer has no real choice.

This hotel is central to where my son an family lives so great to stop in when visiting him from the UK it is great to go into Porto as the metro is by the hotel it is clean an comfortable and reasonably priced

Both room and bathroom were extremely spacious. Even though you can tell some kind of water damage might have happened on the hotel some time ago, we didn't think that interfered in any way with our stay which was wonderful and real value for money.

The bed was the only thing.. not even a big issue but as a couple we would have preferred a double bed instead of 2 beds together.

Comfortable bed, all the accessories. 24h check-in/out. All these makes it perfect when you need a great layour in Porto are to catch your early flight come early from abroad. Great stuff.

The cost. It's quite expensive for the purpose and location of the facility.

Welcome at front desk was exceptional. Not unusual but the best welcome, made it nice staying there. Was quiet considering so near to the airport

The only thing was the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work which meant the room felt a bit damp
