Hotel Secesja

Friendly reception, spoke English as needed, great position for the Old Town and Jewish Quarter, everything you needed close by. Small bar area off reception free tea and coffee, lovely breakfast with different choices, Elevator if needed. The room was magic with angled window bay overlooking the grounds of a Nunnery, so quiet. Designed in an Art Deco style, what you might expect in Krakow.

No tea and coffee facilities in room for early morning cuppa. During our stay there were a large group of young students, a bit noisy at times, hey ho, we were young once, small but comfortable dinning area so work your timings out, but you can always use the bar area to eat in.

Hotel Secesja is a great three-star hotel. It is located centrally but away from the noisy parts of Kazimierz. The staff was very accommodating and chatty, always smiling and ready to help with any issues. We decided to stay an extra night and a member of the staff was very kind to help us keep the same room even though the hotel was pretty much full. We also had a dog with us and everyone was super nice about it. We felt very good there and will definitely come back next time we are in Krakow.

The location of this hotel was excellent for our needs, sightseeing and experiencing the culture. The room was clean and well maintained. Parking was available. The office staff were pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast was superb, a great range of breakfast foods to suit everyone. There were small cafes and restaurants close by and a hairdresser and shops to meet your needs as well. Wawel Castle, the Old Town and the popular modern department store Galleria was close by too.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel Secesja. I got really nice room at the 5th floor. It has a style and is very cosy. The view from the balcony is magnificent. I appreciate the fact that my special request was fulfilled. I needed a room with a bathtub. The buffet breakfast is very tasty. I like to be able to choose what I eat and as much as I want. The location is very convenient. I got to the train station by tram like in 15 min.

Great location. A comfortable hotel, slowly in need of minor repairs, . The room is spacious with a terrace, the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is varied, absolutely enough. The coffee is perfect

It’s located in the city centre, about 15 mins to the market square. Breakfast was very ok for me, everything was clean and tidy. Despite the location one might think it would be loud - nothing like that. You can rest and sleep with no problem. AC is working good.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is only 10 min walk into centre of Krakow. Very easy in straight line. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice. Secesja is an old characterful hotel. We would stay there again.

Cleanness could be better in the bathroom in particular. Parking is on road, easy to find but you need to pay (unless you have an electric car which was free).

Excellent location at 1 min walk from the Kazimierz Jewish neighborhood, 10 min from the Wawel castle, 10 min from the International Congress Center and 15 min from the Rynek main place in the old city. The hotel is decorated in Secession (Art Nouveau) style. The staff is very nice and eager to help. The airport transfer they organized were great both upon arrival (the plane was 2h late but the taxi driver was still there, smiling and good spirited, at 2 am) and for the departure (leaving the hotel at 3.45 am).

The staff was really kind. If any issue arose, it was automatically dealt with. All of our queries were met rapidly and left us with full satisfaction. Breakfast was still good. The room is what kept us very happy. It was spacious and the bathroom was too. The shower was really big as well. The room and its bathroom were spotless when we first entered. What was great and important is that the street directly below us was surprisingly quiet and there were no disturbances at night. At the same time, location of the hotel is perfect and we freely walked everywhere on foot.

Breakfast wasn't as amazing as advertised, however, it was still decent and tasty. There was no fridge in our room. TV's signal just wasn't there and WIFI was, well...slow (around 3 to 9 Mb/s). It might have been an issue with our room not the entire hotel, but it was unfortunate. The hair dryer was old fashioned and it burned out (stopped working) in a matter of seconds and wasn't of any use.

A very quiet, simple hotel in a good location near restaurants and transport links to city centre. A good breakfast buffet was available in a very nicely decorated room. The apartment had a big balcony with nice views over Kazimierz.
