Metropolitan Boutique Hotel

The staff were amazing specially the lady who checked us in and the gentlemen who checked us out. Had dinner on the first night and it was tasty and the dessert was just yum. They had many breakfast options and the breakfast staff were always happy to go out there way to help with special requests. They helped us with airport pick up the driver was there on time and dressed appropriately. (no jeans and T-shirt) car was clean as well. Gabriella who I assume works on the reservations was quick to respond to requests and was always finding ways to help. Room was very clean. Next time I am in the area shall surely be staying here and have already recommended to others.

Lovely well positioned hotel which provided excellent service. The hotel is very comfortable, rooms were great and the restaurant excellent. Reception staff are very helpful with transport, trip advice and general support for our stay. We ate breakfast each day which was a perfect start for our busy days. We ate one evening meal in the restaurant and this too was excellent value and great quality. A small supermarket is directly facing the hotel which was helpful. We used the bar each evening and enjoyed the 40% discount period. The hotel is modern and very tasteful in its furniture and general decor. It’s situated in the Jewish quarter with many bars and eating places minutes away. The main town square and Wawel castle are both 15 minutes walk. There were 6 of us staying at the hotel and all agreed on the all round quality we received.First class.

Excellent hotel, cannot fault anything, extremely comfortable, communication exceptional before and throughout our stay. Great location for walking access to both Kazimierz and the Old Town, spotless clean, staff super efficient, friendly and helpful, fab breakfast, amazing cocktails-we loved Happy Hour! Thank you so much for making our stay so special and for the lovely message and complimentary drink left in our room for our anniversary. We cannot wait to return.

Breakfast was superb with great coffee and a great evening bar, nice interior, lovely staff, great location.

We loved the location to both Kazimierz as well as Rynek. The staff at the hotel is phenomenal, friendly, professional and always ready to help. The breakfast was amazing. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The best stay all around.

Close to the c-train which is great for moving around if you don’t have a car but you can hear the c-train in the morning.

Wow! Where to start....the Metropolitan Hotel was without doubt the best hotel I stayed in, in Poland, out of five different cities. No sooner had I arrived in my room, which, by the way, was huge, a knock at the door and a silver platter was delivered with two very nice chocolate canapes sitting on a small square slate, complete with handwritten note from the management, welcoming me to the hotel. What a start! Breakfast was fantastic, the best, the staff were super nice and helpful. Even before I arrived, I received an email from the hotel asking if I wanted to book any tours. I did, once I arrived and they were very helpful in arranging that too. Very well located between the old town and the Jewish quarter, a Zabka around the corner and a small supermarket opposite. About a 25 minute walk from the train station which is not too bad. Quiet, huge room, a fridge stuffed with chocolate, never mind the alcohol (I don't drink) - an absolutely wonderful stay.

Everything was absolutely spot on, it is a beautiful hotel.

3-night stay with my son with the primary reason being to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mines and Auschwitz/Auschwitz-Birkenau. Room very comfortable and wonderful clean bathroom. Staff very polite both at reception and in the restaurant. Reasonable walking distance to main square. Breakfast choice was very good. We used the restaurant for one evening meal which was to a high standard and just over £40 for two-courses with a couple of drinks.

There really wasn't anything to be disappointed about, however, one other English-speaking TV channel other than the BBC News channel would have made the down time in the room slightly more enjoyable. Otherwise, you would find it hard to fault this hotel.

It was amazing to stay in this hotel. Very professional , polite and knowledgeable staff. Did not mislead me in any case. Asking for directions , taxi , map of Kraków rynek or restaurant , they were ready to serve. The included breakfast was delicious. Fresh squeezed juice , cappuccino , coffee scramble eggs and dark bread. Staff was making sure that nothing was missing. Comparing to a Continental breakfast in the USA , is an insulting Metropolitan Boutique hotel. Strongly recommend.. I'll be back soon.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

The bedroom was a really good size, cleaned everyday. The location was in walking distance of the square and there was plenty around the hotel within walking distance. The breakfast was a really good selection of items. There seemed to be the same things everyday, but there was a big enough choice to choose something different during my 5 days at the hotel. Staff in the hotel would always say hello and couldn't do enough to help. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

An absolute gem of a hotel made all the better by the outstanding staff. They were so polite, friendly and helpful. They booked us trips and sorted everything out when one trip was late picking us up. Located between the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter - maybe 5-10 minute walk from each so great location. The room was very comfortable and spotless. Nice powerful shower. Free water, tea and coffee in the room, replenished each day. The hotel bar was fabulous and great prices (£3 for a cocktail, £2 for beer) although wine is quite expensive (as it is in general in Krakow). We only had breakfast one day and it was good, plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, ham & cheese etc. Only 2 hot items - sausages & scrambled egg but they were delicious. Great supermarket opposite for all your bits & bobs.

Minor niggle, but the hairdryer wasn't very powerful (I have a lot of hair!).
